So...I used to live in Rock Island in the mid to late 80's and one of my favorite places we would eat at often is Pizza and Subs. My first time back to Rock Island was July 2025. My first stop in town was Pizza and Subs. Can you see the excitement on my face?! We had cheesy garlic bread to start. I had 2 slices of pizza (sausage and taco) and I was transported back to 1987 in all the best ways! It was here that I began my LOVE of pizza ❤️ My husband had an Italian sub and loved it so much. He has had many a sub all over the country, and he was so happy with his. The bread was so soft! My daughter had the pesto supreme. Pesto is the besto 💚 My family and I met Lisa (found out we went to the same school at the same time) and she was so welcoming and made me feel like I was back at home. We bought some Gramma Rose's sauce to take home and I wear my Pizza and Subs shirt proudly. Wow, I truly hit the nostalgic jackpot coming back here and I could not be happier that I was able to come back and go to Pizza and Subs. Thank you SO much Lisa, you made my dreams come true ❤️

this was a good place to eat over 20yrs.ago ordered for the first time since I'm back in area 3 calzones later and $50 very dissappointed all cheese hardly any meat on original and to gardens will never go back old good places to eat in area apparently don't exist all the old timers that ran them are gone and new generation dont care about tradition
