We love going there but we sat there 25 minutes and not one person came up to us. Bartender not very friendly from past experience. Probably will not go back.

Great location on the river, good food, interesting beer selection. I had the TenderRoni sandwich, which I enjoyed.

Have tried twice this week to get reservations for a large party. Both times told they were too busy and to call back. Pretty sure it only takes a couple of minutes to do so but whatever.

Sitting on the north bank of the Rock River, this place is pretty large. We apparently went in through one of three doors so pay attention. We were early enough to pick a booth, and were promptly given menus. I checked out the salad bar but decided to try the Grilled Cheesy Burger. Just like it sounds, a grilled cheese sandwich with Texas Toast meets 1/2 pound cheeseburger. A couple of onion rings on top for good measure as well. The steak fries were a little crispy but still good. Will return again.

This was the first time I had been here, and it's a really nice place. You can eat indoors or outdoors on the big patio. With a wonderful view of the Rock River only a few feet away.

My family of 6 went in to eat around 2pm this afternoon. 3 of us got the salad bar. $10.95 all you can eat I assume. Several issues right away. There wasn't any meat on the salad bar. Usually a salad bar would have some sort of diced protein, no salad crackers, and toppings were limited to croutons only. We did not complain. The corn chowder soup was more of a potato and mussel soup. I did not complain. Then on my granddaughter pulled a hair out of her pasta salad. It was enough that the 3 of us stopped eating. We were 1/2 way through our first trip to the salad bar. I don't like my food touching so there was just a salad and broccoli salad on my plate. I VERY discretely asked for our waitress and told her very softly about the hair. They charged us 1/2 price for each salad bar. I told them that we completely stopped eating and were actually leaving hungry. The gentleman behind the bar was very loud and abrasive and said they didn't know whose hair it was. I informed him that we would not be returning. If this is management, then they should send this bar attendant to some professional training. We were very excited about going somewhere with a nice salad bar. This place is NOT it!

I ordered the $12 Ruben. It "looked" good on the marbled rye/opened it up and WHERE's THE BEEF? It had some (very little) coarse ground Corned Beef sticking to cheese and what looked like a big part of it was sauerkraut. I call that a corn beef flavored grilled cheese. Didn't take a bite/asked for the manager and he said "that's how they do it here". I said hard no/it was unacceptable and ordered the "Prime Rib" Philly Cheese. $13 worth/didn't even resemble Prime Rib at all. Chopped up beef of some sort/guessing Chuck at best, greasy and I ate it b/c I was hungry. Didn't really care for it. Asked for au jus/she said they don't have that. My wife had ordered tacos. I had one of hers,,,not bad. More meat on one taco than what was on my Ruben. Manager told waitress to give us 2 pcs of cake. Cake wasn't bad but for almost $30 w/tip, no drinks/we had water, I left hungry and disappointed to say the least. Never again. Waitress was nice. Food was not worth it, not her fault.
