We are new to the area and so we are trying the local establishments preferring to support them over the chains. Fibs was very good. They are investing to remodel the inside and it is very nice although a little bare for now. Very clean and they are obviously focused on making it a go to place in downtown Rockton. For food we ordered three apps, the Reuben sandwich and a wrap. All were above average with the exception of the walleye fingers app. For some reason the breeding on it was rubbery. However, the Reuben and the meat in it was excellent. Just melted in your mouth. We ordered wings with sauce on the side as this will show the attention to detail is the wings themselves are good. And they were. My wife who’s doesn’t usually eat wings even commented she liked them. We had the Buffalo sauce on the side and it was above average. We also had the pickle chips that while not the salty side, were very good. The server was very attentive and extremely friendly making for an above average experience. The newly remodeled side is missing ambience. Nothing on the walls, no TV to watch and felt a little sterile. But, understanding its a work in progress, the effort to improve things (and capital expenditure to do it) investing in downtown Rockton was appreciated and we give it a high recommend looking forward to the improvements that are ongoing. Can’t say enough about the friendly service and looking forward to going back.

Don’t order the shrimp tacos….they put shredded plain cabbage on them, not coleslaw. I simply do not understand. Was a waste of calories for the flour tortillas. Husband enjoyed his burger, probably their strength.

THE best corned beef I’ve ever had is on their delicious Irish Nachos! Not to mention their homemade potato chips, cheese sauce, and sauerkraut all work together to make this an amazing meal.

Took a friend to lunch and over ordered because we wanted to have leftovers and I had a $100 gift card. When I went to pay, I was told that they couldn’t honor the card because the old owner had taken that file with him! I am enraged. Not only did I have to borrow money from my friend that I was supposed to be treating, put I’m out $100.

What has happened to this place? I came in around 9p on a Friday expecting it to be the same fun, happy and thriving place it used to be. There were 3 couples in here, the place looked bare, their adult beverages are limited and I had this overwhelming sense of sadness that it might be closing down. I hadn’t realized how late it was and ordered one of my favorites, their patty melt. The bartender looked at her watch, a gentle notice to me that their kitchen was probably closing but she put the order in with a smile anyway (bless her kind heart) and it came out quick and perfect so big stars to her and the kitchen staff because these days most places would have told me no. Super big thanks and all 4 stars to them! But I have always been used to seeing this place packed, especially on a Friday for fish fry but the restaurant section was dark and gloomy. I felt like the beautiful buck mounts on the wall, and myself, were the only ones there to remember what Fib’s used to be like. I hope it can turn around and become the great place it used to be and maybe even better!

We had a gift card and when we got ready to pay we were told the new owners would NOT accept it. We will NEVER be back. There wasn't anything that showed that there was new owners. I think they should of taken the gift card. I wonder what they would of done if we didn't have any extra money for dinner. I was so very disappointed. This is very Bad business
