I liked the vibe/decor. I liked the various options on the menu. The Bacon, Cheddar, Egg Crossaint was very good. The Chipotle Chicken Skillet, was okay because it was very dry. The Chilaquiles were huge and needed a side beans and sour cream.

The waitress seemed rushed and just wanted to get us in and out. She had a very hard time hearing and walked away from me twice when I was in the middle of talking to her. I had to call her attention to tell her I was still speaking
-_-

Staff seemed overwhelmed a bit or annoyed.

Went right after opening before church and were the first ones. Started to fill up around 8:30am. Ordered the Farmers skillet + Ham and the Chipotle Chicken Skillet both with upgraded specialty pancakes. Our choices were the Blueberry Lemon Pancakes and Banana Crunch Pancakes. Plenty of food for breakfast with leftovers for two. Kitchen was pretty loud despite being behind closed doors. The Chipotle Chicken Skillet also had too many potatoes for the amount of other toppings in my opinion. Good flavors overall. Really enjoyed th Blueberry compote for the pancakes. Would have enjoyed fruit inside the pancakes as well as on top.

Food was average, my skillet was in a pool of grease, my partners Mexican choice was excellent.

This was our first experience with this establishment. We actually did not dine in, but placed an order “to go”, which our friends picked up. They were so impressed with the inside of the restaurant. We were very impressed with the service we received placing the order on the phone – she was very cheerful and very helpful and very accommodating with the changes we wanted to make to the items that we were ordering. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back there again and recommend it to others.

Great breakfast! I ordered a build your own skillet. The eggs were over hard, i ordered over medium but small issue. I like how the ingredients were mixed into the hashbrowns instead of being lumped on top. I upgraded to French toast. Nice and thick. The way it should be. Highly recommend

I went with friends on a whim. I had looked on the internet for brunch places and this restaurant stood out with the menu. Everything was so good and reasonably priced. We will be back and highly recommend this place.

Not recommended… entered the establishment at 11:05 and the place was fully staffed and there were very few customers. Paid for my order by 11:06 and did not receive one simple bowl of oatmeal until 11:25am…. Such excellent service…. I could have driven home and made it myself in 20 minutes! Ridiculous!

Cute little place and the food was tasty however I ordered a monte cristo on a french toast and I was charged extra $6 for switching from a crape which I found extreme. My coffee was mediocre and I was poured a regular instead of decaf. The waitress seemed very rushed and didn't ask us once if we liked the food. Not sure yet if I want to give it another try.

What a great neighborhood place! We had pancakes, chilaquiles and divorciados; Frank was our server and he was friendly, knowledgeable and made our visit awesome!
Restaurant was also extremely clean and just had a great vibe—thank you!

I visited Cafe on the Grove with my family, and initially, everything seemed promising. The atmosphere was pleasant and our server was friendly, which gave us a good first impression. However, things quickly went downhill once our food arrived. We ordered the All Meat Skillet, expecting a hearty mix of meats as the name suggests. Instead, what we got was a plate of mostly hash browns with just a few tiny pieces of ham—definitely not what was advertised. To make matters worse, the eggs were overcooked and rubbery, far from appetizing. We politely pointed out the issue to our server, who acknowledged the mistake and went to speak with the manager. That’s when things took an unfortunate turn. A lady with pink hair, who we assume was the manager, came to our table and immediately took a rude and confrontational tone. Instead of apologizing, she started questioning us. We showed her the dish, and she offered a mere $3 off as compensation, which we declined because it felt dismissive of the poor experience. We ended up paying full price for a meal that was both disappointing in quality and service. To top it off, even the coffee was bad. Needless to say, the online reviews for this place are misleading. We won't be returning—and wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for good food or respectful service.
