BEST Italian food in Illinois, this place is absolutely amazing. We got the poblano soup and the rigatoni alla traverstin and it was the best pasta and soup I have ever had. I requested it to be spicy, and they made it exactly how I wanted it, it was wonderful! My husband ordered his without the spice and it was just as amazing. Also, it is very refreshing to have a restaurant where all of the waiter and waitresses have conversations with the guests, it was so great to see. We had Susanna and her sister and they were so sweet to us. They all are so hospitable and genuinely great people. We have tried many many Italian restaurants in the area, and this is by far the best one and a must try.
What a hidden gem! Great food, great service. What more can you ask for?
Outstanding scratch, in house made food. This is not a red sauce place, which is a great thing. Each dish comes with its own sauce to compliment the dish. The house made pastas are fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place.

First time here, and we really enjoyed it! Service was impeccable, food was delicious and it was a great choice for us. If you like to support (newer) local small businesses, please visit Casa Di Luigi! They opened sometime in late 2023, and with such good reviews here and on Yelp, let's make sure they stay in our area.

Very good! The food was excellent. Everyone commented about how they loved their meals and that they would be back. Surprised they are able to have tables available with this fine level of food and presentation.

Very good food and presentation. Surprised they have any tables available. Really excellent Italian restaurant.
First time visiting. Drove by wondering for a while since it opened. Great food and service. Our new favorite Italian. Unique menu flavors, many traditional favorites.
Both had different Gnocchi. Very tasty. House salad as surprisingly good. Pistachio cheesecake as awesome.
Server was awesome.
Saturday night and half full. It should get more business. Unfortunate location. Well worth the visit.

The chefs here don’t know how to cook noodles right. They were undercooked and tough with my chicken alfredo.

This was my 2nd visit to Casa Di Luigi and both meals were stupendous. The staff is friendly and didn't pressure us to move the meal along any faster than we desired. Our server made excellent recommendations. I was surprised by how quiet it was there on a Saturday night at 7 PM. Much as I love that I don't have to do battle to get into this restaurant, I also want to see it thrive, so people GO EAT HERE! You won't regret it.
