Picked up kung pao chicken, chicken and broccoli, combo fried rice and eggrolls. Extremely disappointed on the quality of food. Tastes like the chicken is prepared before hand and just slightly warmed with a premade sauce. White rice definitely tastes like it was frozen before then warmed up. Extremely dry. Combo fried rice was only decent item but id still give that 3/10. I ordered one hour before closing.

This was our first time here. It was very busy so we ate at the bar. What a treat! We had conversations with the two women behind the bar and learned a bit about Chinese alcohol and the Jasmine tea they serve. The food was wonderful. We had Wonton soup, hot and sour soup (the best I have ever had!), potstickers, Hunan beef, and garlic chicken. Everything came out of the kitchen quickly and hot! The food was plentiful and I had to pack most of my entree to go! The staff was very kind and attentive. What a wonderful dinner. I can't wait to come back to town to dine there again.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was accessible.

This area has barely any Chinese food...and thus, the comparison is hard. Tried eating inside a few times, the waits and crowdedness are tough. Parking is always a good indication how swamped it is. We've had better luck with take out, which ranges from 15-75 minutes based on day/time. Weekends are roughly 45 mins. Food selection is abundant and it has all the classics you would hope for in your heart. Food has always been made well, but it's fairly standard.

Some of the best original Chinese dishes anywhere! From the vegetable noodle soup to the Szechuan, fish casserole, and the classic eight treasure, all are a true gem and delight to enjoy. If you enjoy an adventurous dining experience in your meal, I recommend Chef Ping

Best Chinese restaurant in the Chicago burbs. Must try the lo mein kung poa.

Best Chinese food this side of town. Service is quick and always good. Could get a little crowded during meal hours and it's all good.

First time eating here. It was good, not great. Mongolian beef didn't have enough flavor for me. People must really love this place, it was packed at 5:00.

Best place for Chinese food in schaumburg / rolling meadows area. Food has the right amount of spices and served with correct portions. our family enjoy dining here.

I had read Chicago was a vast wasteland for Chinese food. Luckily, I stumbled upon Chef Pong and was more than pleasantly surprised. Everything I ate and everything I saw near me looked amazing. I hold a specific place in my heart for the most incredible Pork Shu Mei I've ever had. If you are in the area, you'll want to give Chef Ping a try.

Went here because we heard that the menu came from original chef at yu's in Schaumburg. Indeed some of the signature dishes were exact plus they have more. The food was fantastic and more importantly, service is very friendly. Stopped going to yu's years ago (been customer for 20 years) because of consistent bad and rude staff but good food. Ping hits it out of the park in both categories. I highly recommend. This is still our go-to for outstanding Chinese food.Parking: Not a lot of parking. The place is always very busy and when there is a line out the door, parking spills over to the lot next to their building or at Oberweis creamery.

The go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is amazing, but they get extremely crowded and busy. It's best to plan ahead when visiting.

My daughter and I were craving Asian food and so we took a glance at reviews for nearby places. Chef Ping came up pretty well with the reviews and well let’s say they didn’t disappoint. Service was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered are usual favorites and tried something new. We ordered the Mongolian beef, Pad Thai Noodles, Sesame Chicken, Shrimp Dumplings Soup, Crab Ragon, and Chef Pings Seafood Combo. Everything came out quick, it was fresh and hot, it wasn’t as fully flavorful as I would have liked but it still had flavor. Portions were good, we both ate and took home full boxes leftovers of each dish. Would definitely recommend. Clean, Fresh and Friendly!!!
