Enjoyed the Tuesday, 5 Taco special. Had them made Mexican style...Steak, Asada,and Chicken. Absolutely delicious! Meats were so flavorful, and plentiful! The smoky taste, with the cilantro and onions paired up perfectly.

Next time going for the 1/2 Chicken dinner...have been told the chicken is astounding 🙂

First time eating here for take out. We ordered the family chicken meal with 4 sides. Chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful. There's a nice variety of sides. Prices are reasonable, and service was quick and friendly. Would recommend.

Staff was ready and willing to serve us and greeted us promptly upon arrival, we got our food to go as it was late we got a whole roasted chicken and a large order of Birria chicken ! Great food from nice people! What more can I say, cant wait to go back!

Finally stopped in for Sunday dinner takeout. Was really looking forward to trying someplace new. Ordered the family chicken dinner and ribs. The chicken was extremely dry, even the dark meat. The ribs were really off, dry and flavorless. After a few polite bites we threw it all away. Wish I had read the reviews first.

First told me $17.99 for 13 wings. I asked I only want 8. They said sure we can make it whatever you like and change you smaller amount with sides. I asked for two sides and the wings. When I get to the counter the check was $20. After talking I said just give me the wings only. Charged me $14.55 for 8 small buffalo wings. Mind you, no drink or sides. Insane.

I stopped into Hickory Roasters hoping for a satisfying meal but left disappointed. The food was served at room temperature, which really took away from the flavor and overall enjoyment. The wood roasted chicken had potential, but without being served hot, it fell flat. I didn’t even finish my meal.

The sides were also underwhelming. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a mix, and the gravy was far too salty for my taste. While the setup of the restaurant is appealing and the concept is good, the execution on this visit just wasn’t there. Unfortunately, both the food quality and the overall experience fell short of expectations.
