Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

The manager here, Imran, is awful. He is overall rude and disrespectful not only to customers but to employees as well. A truly disappointing, shameful, and disgusting manager. My heart goes out to the poor victims (employees) forced to put up with your actions daily, may they someday find peace. I look forward to the day Oberweis is no longer under your tyrannical and ridiculous leadership. Hell, once you're gone maybe I'll even stop by for an ice cream cake to celebrate.

Waited 20 min for a scoop of ice cream in a empty store while the employees were just chatting it up in the back.

Oberweis ice cream is always amazing, but the customer service at the Rolling Meadows location really missed the mark. I received a spoiled milk in my weekly delivery — the date on the cap was still valid — yet the store refused to exchange it without a receipt. For a company known for quality, I expected better flexibility and accountability.

Got here around 8:30pm, there were a few customers in front of us but everything went quick and smooth. The employee who took our order was patient and explained what certain items were. We ultimately decided to share a apple crisp sundae. The employee gave us option of more ice cream or more apple.
Sundae arrived to our table quickly and was very tasty.

Extremely long wait times, every single time. It doesn’t matter what you order—ice cream, a bottle of milk, or anything else—you’re stuck waiting 15–20 minutes. This happens whether there’s a line or not, whether you’re in the drive-thru or the parking lot with only one car around. I even spoke with the owner/manager (whoever that was), and they couldn’t have cared less. No apology, no effort, nothing. Just bad. Very, very, very bad.

The service here was horrible. I waited 25 minutes for 2 ice cream cones while a group of 10 got their order way before me. When I asked for a refund the manager didn’t apologize and didn’t offer anything for this problem.

This is some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had & the staff was very friendly/welcoming 😊

Good ice cream and nice atmosphere

Disappointed by the service. I arrived at the drive-thru window at 9:58 PM just before closing, and was shocked by how I was treated. The staff refused to even open the window to speak with me and made it clear quite rudely that they were closed. I understand closing time boundaries, but the lack of basic courtesy was unacceptable. I won’t be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic. Both kids ice cream, fantastic. Shake, fantastic. Malt, even better. What a great place with a great staff! 10/10!!!

My order was completely wrong, when I asked for a refund for having to go all back, the employee was very rude and shockingly unprofessional. He had curly hair and frosted bleached tip — older. I called right now to ask for the general manager’s name to write an email and was given the name, but when I asked for the shift manager’s name who I was speaking to, he refused to give me his name and legit hung up on me. He even at one point asked me if I was someone’s mom — it was so bizarre. I just wanted my money back and email the manager that the employee who was rude needs development training. Now, I’m good with them keeping my money, and me never returning. I’ll definitely be reporting this to corporate. The whole thing seemed super weird and shady.
