Excellent food & service!New management has done wonderful updating! I have never been disappointed with the food or service.Friends and family love this restaurant as well.
Food was good just one server for the whole restaurant... if you're not patient might not recommend at this moment.. PLACE does have potential
I went there for lunch and it was wonderful! We sat on the patio which was very nice. Service was good. I liked the fresh tomatoes in the salsa, the chips were good and crisp. I had enchiladas with beef, and they were very flavorful. Not spicy, but lots of flavor! I will definitely be returning!
Excelente good, delicious, big portions, great service and good drinks. Love it.
Got there in time for the buffet. It was real nice. Good variety of food.
Despite being under new management and seriously under staffed the service was good and the food was excellent.
One of the worst places if ever been. Has seriously gone down hill since they took over Pep'es they did away with the neighborhoods favorite deal. The lunch buffet. There are alot of businesses out here as well as home owners we need places to eat. And they did away with the best waiters and waitresses. The food is under par to this day. I dont know if they fired the cook or tied his hands but the food is not the same. . ..I live around the corner and would rather go to th super market called El Barrio for thier 3for $5 taco special than go to whatever this place is called now. It's a shame and a shadow of its former glory. If I worked there I would've already been looking for a new job poor people.
We love this place! Authentic Mexican cuisine. Wonderful service. Lots of good vegetarian options. Great for fast carry out too. Large patio and you don’t feel crowded. It’s a nice option for outdoor dining if you want to get away from crowds in downtown Arlington Heights.
I’ve been there 3 times now and every time the food is delicious, the food arrives fast, and the service is excellent!
Pleasantly surprised. Food is good for the price and service was fast and good too. Nice patio with roof.

Great atmosphere, amazing food with Vegetarian Options. The Soy Al Pastor is A++ ! To the people complaining about a 50 cent over charge, should probably Just stick with Taco Bell. Many don’t understand, when you dine out, you are paying for the experience not just the food and drinks. I Will be coming back for sure!!!!!
Tacos and margaritas were delicious! Came here during lunch with coworkers and service was very fast. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
We had lunch there today and it was fabulous their Guacamole is superb the best I’ve had in ages!!!I got the carne asada quesadillas, yummy ? The food is delicious their chips are fresh and I mean fresh their salsa is delicious not too spicy.. And the flan, oh my it is to die for.. my friend had a different dessert, it was ice cream inside of a deep fried shell that looked like a lotus flower! Just amazing ? Be sure to try this restaurant- soon!!!
Food is good but have to agree with other reviews that this place is overpriced. $16 with tip for RC and three tacos. The local grocery stores have equal to if not better quality tacos burritos with specials. This place has no lunch specials and combos. FOOD Was Good but for these prices I'd check out Rosie's or Los Laureles to save some money. I don't think they'll survive with these prices.......UPDATE: Owner is not responding to reviews that criticize expensive menu. Just updated my review after seeing them only respond to 5 star reviews. Add some lunch specials guy.
We came here thinking we were going to Pepe's, and were surprised to find that it was long gone :( However, we were in for a treat :) Sabroso is a hidden gem! Our waiter was excellent and attentive, bringing us a basket of THE BEST tortilla chips- made in house, btw- and a round of mango margaritas that were delicious. Lunch was equally as good, served with practically no wait and piping hot! I agree the pricing is a bit high ($13 for a 3 taco plate w/ beans, rice & salad), but I believe you pay for what you get- Fresh, authentic Mexican food served fast and hot. If I had to fuss about something, it would be that their menu is limited (don't expect a large book of choices). We had a great time enjoying the warm day on their patio- We'll be back!
