I will give it 5 stars because I love small business and want them to succeed. I was starving and the food was prepared quick. $38 for 5 tacos I ordered and some chips, I thought was pretty high but since I get too excited to try different food and don’t look at the receipt usually, no clue what tacos really cost here. Once I got in the car my wife was doing the math I realized that. Definitely try to go there a while before they close. I walked in at 7:04 and they close at 7:30 so the cook looked pissed off already but the party of four that walked in 5 min after me definitely got this guy going and swearing 500 times a second, I thought he would go out and choke these guys….lol I will try this place again at a better time I guess.

Ordered mini tacos (steak and beef)and the queso birria tacos. The service was AMAZING but the food was AWFUL. The beef was super salty, the birria tacos were Burt and super hard; they were even a tad bit spicy and they had no flavor. So extremely disappointed because in the past the food was better not sure what changed. The rice and beans are always delicious but everything else was over salty, burnt, hard and overall not good.

La Tortuga Feliz provides the same excellent Food & Services as that in their Restaurant at your selected location(s) On Demand (using their Mobile-Cart System). We had organized a Graduation Party for about 75 people. Their mobile Cart system provided Excellent, Perfectly ON-TIME services. We appreciated their organizing skills, providing every necessary items - Plates, Spoons/Forks, Napkins, temp. tables, etc. As usual, Excellent, Tasty Food along with Sides such as Salsa(s). Writing orders for each guest and providing Fresh Hot Food of individual Choice was amazing - very methodic and yet, Quick. After experiencing such Food & Service we were stunned as well very happy to get 50% off of their normal rate.

Food is delicious and very authentic. They catered to my home for an evening gathering and it was excellent.
Stay away from this place!!Went in the other night to get a bite to eat and then saw they are charging an upfront gratuity for dining in %13 for three people and %15 for 4 or more!!I thought gratuity was based on service they have no wait staff ?Don't even waste your money here much better places than this around the area.

The problem with this place is that it's so inconsistent. I've gotten the same dish 4 times and every time it's been like a completely different dish each time, as if whoever is cooking gets to use their mom's recipe. I've decided not to return. With so many taquerias around, it's easy to go to another place. If you go, be prepared to pay extra for using a card instead of cash, and to get nickeled and time for every little thing.
