Pops is everything that the Chicago Hot Dog / Burger stand should be and then some.
Vienna beef dogs, made the Chicago way, a mountain of fries ( and thats the small order) and a pop wont break the bank ....unlike that famous red and white bag all over the city.
They have great Gyros, awesome beef, sausage and combos....

It's very good tasting food but not too healthy. Even the fish options or other healthy options available aren't too great. Everything tastes good but I don't recommend eating here daily due to the sodium, cholesterol and grease. The healthy options may look or sound appealing but if you eat/cook fresh produce or seafood at home you can definitely tell there's very little nutritional value in Pop's food. For a once and a while option, 4/5 but for everyday lunch or dinner 2/5.

Ordered a hotdog and a double cheeseburger. The hotdog wasn't that great, the bread was hard, and the cheeseburger was good but had no flavor. The fries were the best thing I ate there. Was just trying a new place to eat at. I haven't tried the beef so I couldn't go higher or lower on the rating.

Walk in and no one was to be seen in the kitchen or behind the counter to take my order all workers were in the back listening to music.

Tastless beef sandwiches with a weird color. Were any seasoning used? Fries were good but for the price not worth it. Also, hope you like to deal with gnats while you eat. Very disappointed.

Beef was chewy and dry even though the bun was dripping. An 8 dollar gyro was the size of a hotdog. There are better choices in the area

The first time I had a gyro from here and it will b the last. The worst gyro I ever had. Dry, hard, burnt meat. Also very small pieces that were inedible. $15 for a gyro plate. What a waste of money!

Can't beat a hotdog wrapped in fries.

Gyro sandwich is $7.99 with skimpy portion of meat that isn't particularly high quality. Overdone on cucumber sauce. And $6.00 to make it a meal. That's a ridiculously high price for fries and a medium drink. Tons of fries is supposed to make $14.00 worth it? Not for me.

This place is fabulous. We’ve tried the Italian beef wonderful McGear platter. Excellent folks are nice and we have not had any problems. The last five times we’ve ordered from them and picked up or ate their way to go crew. We definitely love giving you a TIP ?
