This is one of the reasons to take the road less traveled. I took the scenic route back from Springfield and happened to pass a sign about ice cream. Very happy that I turned around to this cute little place.
Seasonal -- Closed mid fall to late spring. Great service but doesn't mean fast so enjoy your time patiently, like the good old days. Generous serving sizes. Outdoor seating at picnic tabkes under a roof, very clean. Kids playground across the street in the park.
