Visiting from Nebraska and we stopped to get food to-go and I was absolutely blown away!!! I lived in Nashville for 25 years and have eaten at many BBQ joints, and this was hands down the best BBQ I've ever passed through my pie hole!!! The portions were huge, the flavor was epic!! Will definitely be on my list when I come back to visit!!! Congratulations on perfecting your craft!!

The food was amazing and delicious.

Not understanding this place. I called in early April to place an order, "sorry we are not doing BBQ until 4/18 - Huh? Because it's winter in IL" - really? Called 4/25 to place an order, no clear menu online, answering machine says the person you are calling is not available. It's 4:00 pm on a Friday. Last chance dudes! Figure out how to run a restaurant.

Been following this page for a while and not sure why it took so long to get over there but won’t be sleeping on this place any more! Had an awesome lunch and sampled several meats and sides today. Pulled pork was delicious, sauces on point, friendly staff and very reasonable prices for the portions and quality. I liked the atmosphere and even the music was good! The ribs and sliced brisket were both absolutely out of this world! Can’t wait to come back and try some of the other items and hang for a little longer to play some games or learn shuffleboard! Y’all got it going on!

We had the absolute best night. The bartender was personable, and the food was the best! 10/10

My husband and I have tried the trailer and now the restaurant. The meat was amazing and blew anyone in the state out of the water. The pricing was amazing! We’ve spent more at a chain restaurant and it was not as good as this is. The mac and cheese is to die for. Comparable to a BBQ place we found in Kentucky! We will be back many more times!

Hands down the best pulled pork and smoked sausages/brisket in Rockford.

Food good, though small portions of meat. Nice place. Convenient in Roscoe by Ace Hardware. Terrible service. Slow, distracted, loud. Three people behind counter and waiting on one customer while others wait. Tall African American man was loud and obnoxious. Too bodacious for this type of place.

We must've came on leftover day because the mac n cheese seemed old and over cooked along with the pickle pasta salad. The coleslaw tasted just like cabbage and carrots, not much flavor. The brisket elote looked great but also lacked in the flavor department. I will say the brisket & meat candy were pretty good but you didn't get much of it. The people were very nice and the place looked very clean, the food just didn't do it for us...

Nope. Really wish I had my time and money back. It's few and far between to have such a poor dining experience.

Real legitimate bbq in Roscoe, I wish I went sooner. The bread pudding and brisket elotes were incredible. I wish them all the success they can get. ???????

Food was okay. However the order was messed up and they had a few flies flying around. Booths were a bit tight.

They forgot a piece of my food. Then made me wait a long time to get it.

Just spent, $190 for ribs, sausage, "meat candy", brisket, beans and mac & cheese.
First off, I have never had ribs at a restaurant that leaves the membrane on the ribs. Parts of the ribs were tender and parts had such a thick bark that was like shoe leather.
The smoked sausage, on the menu didn't indicate that it was spicey. Very spicey sausage.
Meat candy was very tough that it took forever to chew through it. I make burnt ends on my "Pitboss" smoker with pork belly and mine turn out, melt in your mouth tender.
Brisket was pretty good for shredded. Most bbq joints also sell it in slices. Not everyone wants brisket inbetween a bun.
Mac & cheese was kind of dry.
Beans, were also ok but after the fourth bite, the smoke flaver over powered the beans.
We live in Roscoe and will never be back again.
Bottom line is, over priced for what you get and for quality.
I'm sure the owner will chime in, in a day or so.
