Recently visited this place and loved it. Pricey but every order can be shared. We didn't realize how big they serve every order. We got a take away bag! Loved everything they have. Will definitely come back.

My man pulled a blonde hair out of his mouth from the garlic knots, it was inside of them pukeeee. Then they gave us a cold app that only I would like (mushrooms) then never came back to the table. After 15 min of watching our server and the manager ignore us, we got up and asked for the check to leave. I forgot my phone on the table when we left. We tracked it back to the restaurant and was trying to call it. The staff kept hanging up and then TURNED MY CELL PHONE OFF!!!!!!! I wish I was lying cuz I can’t even believe they would do that and whyyyy?!?!?!?!? My fiancé went in there and demanded they give me my phone. They gave it to him and it was in fact turned off. How WEIRD! Will never ever ever recommend this place to anyone. Lol ?

Absolutely the WORST food you'll eat. Just like the garbage at Gibsons down the block. All of Rosemont is trash. They serve SO many people that quality is non existent. Straight trash food. Tasted like microwaved food. Pasta was made of plastic. You can taste the uncooked flour. Sauces straight out of a can from 1970. I've eaten at the finest restaurants in the world and I can tell you this is one of the worst.

Start to finish Carmine's was absolutely excellent. My wife and I also really enjoyed the company of our waiter a fellow Sicilian... our new friend Sal! What a great guy! We for sure will be coming back and enjoying some more old school beautiful Italian food and fun dinner vibe. Cin cin and salude!Also.. I highly recommend getting the Linguine Granchio (crab linguine)... phenomenal!!

Not sure what happened to this restaurant but I was extremely disappointed. My friend and I were there for dinner at a reasonable time, we were rushed thru dinner like it was a mess hall. Waiter was rude and noone was in there now I understand why

Have to read both parts of the review!!!Got off the plane and our of the airport hungry, and needed to carb up for the volleyball tournament tomorrow. This place hit the spot! Great, quiet atmosphere with some light music playing over the speakers. Our server was awesome. They kept our drinks full. The glass of water would hit half, and they were there to fill it back up. Ordered a bruschetta for antipasti and was delicious! Fresh bread, marinated tomatoes with calmatta olives! Loved it. The Cesar's salad just as a salad should be. The main course was spaghetti and meatballs for my daughter, meat lasagna for myself. The entrées were top notch! Couldn't finish them! It was a pricey meal, but the quality of service and food were well worth it! READ THE UPDATE!!!!So, the second part of the review. We had such a great time on the Thursday we arrived, and we decided to go back after our volleyball tournament had finished on Sunday. My daughter was super excited, and we were craving Carmines!!! SO SAD AND MAD WE WERE NOT SEATED!!!!!! We walked in and asked to be seated. Mind you, we had just finished a volleyball tournament. The young lady was grabbing the menus, when the host( an older gentleman) looks at us and says I'm so sorry we are only dealing with reservations today. We are far too busy for walk ins! He did say " The bar is open, but since your daughter isn't of age you can't sit" The restaurant was open, and tables empty!!! My daughter even pointed it out. So to confirm my suspicions, I called from the parking lot. I asked if we could have a walk-in for 2. The female answering the phone said yes, of course, plenty of room. So we were denied service because we had just come from the McCormick center and a national qualifier!!!!! My daughter was in volleyball warm up gear, and I was in comfortable clothing, and we got denied. I had just given this restaurant over $150 of my money not even three days ago, to be treated like this was horrendous!!!! Soooo sad. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IN THE VOLLEYBALL COMMUNITY!!!! I had been telling people in the center(which brings over 10000 people to Chicago for four days) to go there and eat. Needless to say, I retract my statement. Great food, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Went to go eat at Easy Street Pizza a little down the road and was treated like a VALUED CUSTOMER!!!!

Food was great. Went for my wife birthday. Our server, Bela, took awesome care of us. We had scallops in peppercorn sauce, and sausage and peppers for appetizer. My wife had chicken limone and I had the Chilean sea bass. Both were extremely good. Will definitely go again.

We went here while we were making time for a concert at Joes Live (nearby). I hate to say this but the food gave me the runs (Veil Parmesan). The drinks were "meh" and the price (in my opinion) is a bit expensive for the what the food is . The waitress ( I should have gotten her name) was delightful. I doubt we'll be going back.
