Service and food blew me away. If I could give 10 stars I would. Waiter provided great recommendations and service was very good. Have avoided going here since I'm such a frequent Gibsons visitor. So glad I decided to try. Amazing! Cant wait to go back.

After friends recommended this restaurant I really had hoped to enjoy dinner there. Unfortunately, my near $70 Ribeye steak lacked flavor and worse yet had quite a thick ligament or connective tissue throughout that was difficult to work around. I’ve had better Ribeye steak at chain restaurants or even cooked at home. I definitely do not recommend the sausage and peppers either, boring! Sausage was not very flavorful and we ordered it spicy. Garlic mashed potatoes were also very bland, another boring item. The restaurant didn’t have many diners for a Saturday dinner so I didn’t understand why our server also seemed abrupt and in a hurry. Salads came out with incorrect dressing, mushrooms were forgotten (and when they came, again, just some sautéed mushrooms that lacked flavor). Did they forget to use spices or seasoning in any of the food? This can’t be the food my friends highly rated. The one thing I can compliment them on is the option for a $5 dinner salad which was very reasonable and fresh; many restaurants really overcharge for a side salad but here, they did not. Overall, this was definitely not a meal or dining experience worth the $250 we spent for two.

It's been a while since I've had service and food like I did tonight. Sergio, Francine and Geraldo made me feel like royalty tonight with such polite and hospitable service. I cannot say enough good things about them or this restaurant.

Excellent customer service and good food. Come check them out if you’re in the area. They have a huge tent for outdoor dining.

Food was delicious. Fran was very generous and accommodated my plate just as I wanted. She was friendly with great service, there should be more servers like her.

Wonderful food and service! It's $$$ expensive but well worth a night of eating out. Perfect for friends and family.

Ordered take out on Sunday. a few salads, some sides and a 24 oz porterhouse. The salads and sides were good, but the $78 steak was not 24 oz...not even close. Pricey meal for what it was. There are several steakhouses in Rosemont, capital grille, Morton’s etc. where the experience has been better.

What a great evening we had Saturday at Gene and Georgetti's in Rosemont! The food was excellent, the service impeccable, the staff graciously friendly, and the ambience was lovely. Jessica Brown, the Private Dining Manager, made all this possible. Thanks, Jessica. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The service and the food was amazing. Fran took care of my party and she was AMAZING. So kind and provided us with fantastic customer service. The outdoor area was beautiful and spacious, given the current Covid guidelines.

Update. I spoke to Nicole at G&G about my review and experience 4.27.2020 ALL calls to the Rosemont location will be forwarded onto the downtown location. They are sorting out their whole delivery/Carry out services as this was not their primary business, but they are working on making it good. The Rosemont location re-opening date in tbd, but will continue to do large catering orders for business offices. And FYI, this is me going after what is the best meatball up North. I was really enjoying going to get items from their pantry, but sadly after my last order of 7 meatballs, I didn't get over to pick them up. Oddly enough I wasn't told the Rosemont location closed, when I called to make sure I can come pick them up today, Sunday. I added some vodka sauce and rigatoni and was told their curb side pick up didn't start until 3, so cool, I live 12 min away. All masked up and ready to get some meatballs and vodka sauce and rigatoni I headed over and was told when I called, that this location was closed since April 1. Which is odd, as I called last Tuesday for the meatballs and wasn't told the Rosemont location was closed. Sadly for us northern folks who helped order pick up for the weeks in March are now left to find another place to get amazing meatballs, sauce and cooked pastas. The Chicago location is now reopened as their sole location. But maybe this is bad info I received on my call today. I'm not sure if they will deliver up here to Edison park or if they will just go back to servicing the downtown folks going forward. They probably will need it, as I'm sure returning triumphantly after the fire and now the pandemic to the Chicago location is a better move for a restaurant. Sigh. Just sad that we don't get to have meatballs to make a meatball sandwich. I knocked off 1 Star in hopes that the idea of this large locations history doesn't sway people away from trying this place out should they ever know someone who can order from the Franklin St location downtown. Good luck GandGtogo.com I will still be calling for the pantry items when/if you ever have a day for the Rosemont area. Chicago people, call the downtown location directly to place an order..they open at 3pm. 312-527-3718. Order from the pantry menu.

How disappointing. Really really disappointing. I ordered from here for Easter Dinner pick up. 4 entrees from a pre fixed menu. $35.00 per person. 2 garbage salads, one frittata, one sausage and peppers. One ham, 3 salmon. 3 carrots and green beans, one rigatoni. 3 carrot cakes, one chocolate. First, how I wished I'd taken pictures. But once my son got home, the food was quickly taken out of the packages and immediately put on plates. The ham was so generic looking and had no honey flavoring what so ever. It wasn't even sliced nice. It was about 5 chunky pieces put in a tin. The salmon was SMALL. I mean it. Really small. I got a picture of the garbage salad. Super tiny. Greens weren't all that fresh. The rigatoni was actually hilarious because it wasn't until the end of the dinner (snack, actually) that it was brought to my attention that it was supposed to have sausage and peas in it. The maybe 20 pieces of rigatoni had 3 TINY pieces of sausage and literally 3 peas. I'm not joking. I actually thought those 6 lousy pieces of peas and sausage ended up in there on accident. Wow. The carrots and green beans were also disappointing. There was no thought put into the dinner or the presentation. I know it was pick up. I know there is a pandemic. I get it. I really do. But in this particular circumstance, I could have done all of this at home with a much better ending. The pick up time was between 12 and 1. We picked one. What this really seemed like is that we got what was left of the leftovers. I had been looking forward to trying them. Not again. Next!!!

Awful service. Rude employees and the managers are awful. Michelle the owner is a really awful business owner. I entirely regret my experience with this restaurant and I hope they go under to never disrespect another patron again. In fact, they should never be allowed to offer service to a customer again. 0 stars overall in every aspect of this manipulative scheming business.
