Hosted a party for 16 people in the Stephan room. Waited dropped my hot dinner filet mignon in my lap. Had a burning feeling for a few seconds (no injury luckily) asparagus / squishy sensation was on floor the rest of the night . Only $70 taken off bill. Nothing against service fee . Nothing else towards cleaning or person next to me also affected and the inconvenience factor. Use to be my favorite restaurant in Rosemont. It's now a zero star rating for me ..

Very good ambience, great customer service. Ordered rare plus bone in ribeye. Slight smell and coldness noted to the meat. Not to a point that I had to ask to remake the steak but enough for me to be slightly disappointed with the steakhouse signature menu. I ordered. Rare plus. Might be because of it ? But I ALWAYS order rare plus in all of my steak. No inside steak was cold. But I am very happy with the staff. I would return any time. It is a minor thing . Too bad they don't have draft beers on tap. That would have been perfect

Last Sunday, it was my first time in Gibson's Rosemont. I ordered a filet mignon, and my fiancé ordered a ribeye.The server asked how we would like it cooked, and I said medium to well, but more on the medium side. My fiancé asked for a medium cook. The server asked if we both wanted the meat to be charred and we said no.We also asked for mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms on top. They brought us charred meat anyway, and the mushrooms were on the side of the potatoes (not sauteed).The only good thing we ordered was the brussel sprouts. A manager was walking around to each table to ask how is everything, and I told him the meat was not cooked as expected. After which the server came and said next time tell me when you do not want charred meat. This made us very upset, so they gave us a free dessert and free baked potatoes, which does not compare to the $87 and $65 steaks we ordered.Overall the place is outdated, the steak is not good and I would not recommend this place.

Well, this restaurant really does the job! I haven't been to a place that would make such an impression on me for a long time. Everything is perfect here, delicious steaks, great service, unique atmosphere. Of course, entry only after prior reservation. It's very expensive, but it's worth it, oh so worth it! I ate probably the best steak of my life (Chicago Cut), prepared exactly as I wished, with grilled green asparagus and home fries, drinking great red wine recommended by the waiter. I have never seen such service in person, the people working here are passionate, truly dedicated to their job and they are true professionals! I can recommend this place with a clear conscience!
