Sad to see the negative reviews, because I was very impressed. Ordered through Uber Eats...so for delivery, tip and a large italian sandwich...$15 is a really good deal. The sandwich was great...the bread was outstanding, very fresh.

Ordered on Uber Eats, completely wrong sandwiched delivered had to order from another place because the sand they sent the person could not eat. So inconvenient.

Overpriced bland food. Christina is very nice. Vivian does not know how to deal with customers and can be quite rude. How do you run out of fries at 11:00 am??? I have had that happen on several occasions. I'd rather go out than to go downstairs and eat there.

I have read the negative and decided to review the restaurant. I have been going here for about a year and a half. It is convenient. The food is decent. It is a deli not a four star restaurant. Everything is made to order, so yes you have to wait a few minutes for your food. I have never had a problem with my order being wrong. The ingredients are always fresh. The prices are on par with the area, and the staff is always very friendly.

Below par food. Ask for sandwich with no tomato and every time worker puts tomato on the sandwich. There sandwich making skills are just as good as their spelling skills.

This deli opened a few months ago in our office building. After a long lapse in no in-building food options, many people were very excited to be lazy and go downstairs for food instead of having to leave the building. HOWEVER...to everyone's disappointment, this deli has proven to be more of a pain than convenience! Their service is so slow - their billboard with menu items says "please expect a 2 - 4 minute wait." When you're the only person at the deli, you can expect almost a 10 minute wait. The attention paid to the food being made is not great - I've had to keep an eye on a breakfast bagel so many times just because I know that when it hits the steamer, I'll tell them I requested it on a different bagel than they've made it on. Sometimes you'll end up asking for 2 - 3 different food items, only for them to tell you they do not have that meat/product in stock - at least "block off" all menu items with those ingredients so customers know. For the service and amount of food you get, it's quite expensive. For just over $10, you get an ok sandwich, drinks, and chips - Rosemont has a plethora of other places I would happily go out of my way for to get a bigger and better meal for that cost. ***Back to staff "attentiveness" - I recently bit into my wrap, thought I was chewing on a very chewy piece of chicken, and spit it out. Much to my surprise, I was chewing on a bright yellow rubber band. I immediately took my wrap downstairs - the staff member unapologetically offered me a new wrap (no, thanks!). He finally refunded me the cost of the wrap (not my whole meal). The more I think about it, the more I realize I could have most likely really choked on that rubber band...but I wouldn't know because I've never eaten one before! I have worked many years in the food service industry and this is about the most absurd thing that I've seen. We always complain about getting food from this deli (service, cost, timeliness, etc.), but this rubber band fiasco has put me over the edge and they will no longer be getting my service.

The lobster bisque is a must. You can only get it on Friday, though.
