We stopped into Hofbrauhaus on a whim, looking for a beer. This location actually offered indoor seating, probably because of it high ceilings and vastly spread out tables. Ordered a liter of the Hofbrauhaus original lager. Went down smoothly. The menu is limited due to the circumstances. Disappointed they did not have the potato soup. However, we split the sausage plate, which of course was delicious! I have been to several Hofbrauhaus's including the original in Munich. This location is equally fun. And our waitress was a pure delight.

The entertainment hands down is 5 stars! The German band and costumes are awesome. Great entertainment and environment with lots of seating. But I would give the food 3 stars, this is why I have given an overall 4 star review. I had the jaeger schnitzel and my mom had the wiener schnitzel. Both are pounced breaded pieces of pork cutlet. The jaeger schnitzel has a mushroom sauce which I thought gave it more flavor. It was served with what tasted like dried up Mac and Cheese. The wiener schnitzel was plain and served with mustard potato salad. The portions are huge but a little pricy in my opinion. The soda tasted fresh and the potato pancakes were on point.I will be back for dessert and the entertainment but not again for a meal.

Excellent service, beer, food and music. Staff had masks on and seemed focused on cleanliness. We enjoyed our party and will be back for more!

I have been to the original locations in Munich, while this isn't the same it is as close as you will get in the Chicago area. The weekend nights can get rowdy, but family-friendly just loud. It is a big Baviveran beer hall and they have live music all the time. Service has always been good. The food is amazing. It is pricey but worth it.

The service was good, the band was fun, but the food is terrible. Not the place to go for authentic German meals and it's so expensive!

They stand by while veterans get jumped by anti-veteran groups. Disgusting. They then hang up on you when you call to resolve the issue. Worst ever.
So we went 10/10/20 for the Octoberfest special. They must have had the dates wrong and thought it was Cinco de Mayo! The band played a whole set of Mexican music, 2 different times. I am fine with the music, it has it's place and time. We could have went to the local Mexican restaurant and saved a bunch of money. We went to celebrate Ocoberfest!!

Not just a come in, sit down eat and leave kinda place. You have live entertainment, with singing, dancing, and they interact with whoever is eating. And if you order shots your waitress will reward you afterwards. Definitely a lot of fun.

The beer is made in house. Some of the menu items are perfect. There is a bit of a nod to America on the Menu... stick to the classics.Nicole, was a awesome ambassador for the brand: fantastic service
