Good was better than average, just think it's time to do a upgrade or remodel. Looking pretty dated and used in some areas.

This is my regular watering hole whenever I stay in the area for a convention, but this past weekend I asked myself why I don't choose to come here more often since I don't live too far away? It's nothing special on the surface as it's just a hotel restaurant/bar with several Caddyshack references along the wall, but they do a good job of trying to fit their specials with whatever convention the hotel is hosting, which is a nice touch. What sells the place for me is the staff. Linda, Tori and Connor were some serious champions. I would go there in the early afternoon for a drink, then come back late for a night cap and they'd still be there and still moving with the same energy and keeping a friendly attitude. I don't know many people who could work that many hours and still be smiling. You can't get much better than that.

Good menu to choose from. Plenty of across-the-board choices. However...
1) I sent the first beer (pint of draft) back as it was buttery-tasting, and obviously was either old or the beer lines needed a DRASTIC cleaning. The second choice, an American popular brand was much more appealing. The server seemed quite taken aback (like this kind of thing just doesn't happen). Sorry, it was off-putting beer.
2) My wife and I decided to share an entrée burger and app. The burger came with fries that were moderately over-cooked. Thin crinkle cuts that were dry and at least 50% brown. You can't cook thin fries that long!
The burger (build your own) was average at best.
3) For the money, not worth it. Culver's serves up a far better burger and fries, for half the price. We tried it, and were disappointed. Sorry.
4) The server needs to be more engaging, helpful, and personable. I realize it's not the best gig in the world, but your personality didn't add value.

We had a reservation, we were seated and waited 20 minutes before anyone even came to our table. Service was very slow, when our food finally came 75 minutes after being sat our burgers were raw. We were short on time so we ate our fries. The general manager did comp our entire bill so they definitely did the right thing but I wouldn't return to the restaurant.

Great atmosphere.
Great decor
Got the classic Chicago Hot Dogs...nailed it 95%...wish you did traditional relish instead of the neon green stuff.

We wondered in here while staying at the Crowns Plaza Chicago O'Hare to grab an early dinner. The service was a bit slow as there seemed to be a shortage of servers. But when the food came we were floored.

We got the Crispy Garlic Potato Golf Balls to start. They were everything you're expecting: crispy, hot and flavorful. It's not light, so share the order.

The sleeper hit was the Fish and Chips. Highly undersold by the name, the beer battered haddock arrived as a huge plank of fish perfectly fried and absolutely delicious. Honestly, the best fried fish I've ever had. You won't regret trying this.

We might be back tomorrow for the same thing. Lol

Restaurant was about 1/3 full... waited almost 10 minutes for hostess to return to station in order to seat us. Two staff members knew we were waiting all that time and neither offered to either get the hostess or to just seat us. Once we were seated waitress approached take drink orders. We then order our food and it took about 15 minutes to get which was fine. The Italian beef eggrolls were entirely overcooked and almost inedible. The burgers were tasty and cooked fairly well. Server never came back to check on us to see if food was OK because we were wanting to have the Italian beef eggrolls remade so that they would be edible. Server only returned to take away the empty plates and leave the bill. Would have ordered drink refills but at that point we wanted to leave. Overall, I would not return due to food was only fair quality and service was definitely lacking.

The food was okay but wasn't worth the cost. Paying $15 just to park didn't help either.
