Pretty good middle eastern fast casual. They have an allergy guide online that labeled all their vegan items. This is all bases, falafel, 4 sauces, and lentil soup. Fries are NOT vegan! Baklava is labaled as vegan for some reason but contains eggs and dairy on this chart.
No complaints about the quality of the food, but consistency regarding meat is very questionable. Servings of meat according to Naf Nafs website is considered 4 oz, which isn’t much. Everytime I order a plate, I get Chicken and Steak. There is no way in hell they are giving customers 4oz of steak. Some times it’s 2oz at best. In fact, the portion of chicken to steak is usually more than double. How so when the serving size is supposed to be the same for each? It seems you pay extra for steak and get 1/2 or less of the steak than the chicken?Customers are paying over $18 for mostly rice(or cous cous) and water based vegetables with little meat already. How greedy do they have to be?

These were supposed to be chicken strips, but this is honestly the worst food I’ve ever eaten. It tastes like the oil is never changed — absolutely disgusting. I’m not even exaggerating.
On top of that, the portion size for the price is ridiculous.
If you don’t want food poisoning, I would strongly recommend NOT eating here. Never again.

Delicious! The garlic sauce will bite you back! It was amazing. Bought the falafel sandwich one time, then the falafel bowl the other. Fantastic! 🤤 Definitely eating again when visiting Chicago.

The chicken shawarma bowl is SO amazing that I haven't tried anything else. Wish there was a Naf Naf near Gurnee!

I usually enjoy the food bowls here and mostly order the beef. Unfortunately, this is the second time the meat has not been cooked thoroughly. The staff preparing the beef should pay more attention and cook it properly, because trust me chewing on raw meat is disgusting 😭. Since it was a pickup order, I was able to cook it myself at home instead of throwing it away.
Another thing I want to mention is the fountain drink - Coke I got on my previous visit, it didn’t taste like Coke at all(we all know how coke tastes). Management should check on that too.

Naf Naf Grill nails the fast-casual Middle Eastern formula so well that it’s hard to believe it’s a chain—four well-earned stars for delivering consistently craveable food with speed and flair. The pitas are baked fresh in-house and come out pillow-soft yet sturdy enough to handle a mountain of silky hummus, smoky charred chicken shawarma, or the impossibly tender beef kofta that tastes like it spent hours over real charcoal. The build-your-own bowl or pita setup lets you go wild with toppings—garlicky sauce that bites back, tangy purple cabbage, sumac onions, and that addictive garlic whip—and every bite hits the perfect balance of bright, creamy, and spicy. Service is lightning-fast even when the line snakes out the door, portions are generous, and the price feels almost too fair for the quality. It’s not quite the transcendent street-cart experience you’d chase down in Dearborn or Jerusalem, but for a quick, flavorful fix that never disappoints, Naf Naf is pretty much unbeatable. Cool little spot great for quick visits! Highly recommend their pita and Hummus! Pita is served still warm made fresh in house. Dipped in the Hummus gives an amazing flavor combination! Will definitely revisit in the future!
