Different food for a farm boy from Illinois but it was very good.Something we don't have back in the middle of our corn fields..

Unfortunately, a HUGE disappointment. I was looking forward to the food here, however, chicken had an awful smell like poultry going bad, dry, & tasted worse. Had to spit it out & throw it away. Seriously, the owner should check the chicken. Dolma was tasteless. Nice people but not all people were meant to cook.

This was the worst Mediterranean food I’ve ever tasted, & I’m Mediterranean! The chicken kabobs were dry, overcooked & had a bad smell like old poultry. I took one bite & had to spit it out. I didn’t know you could ruin rice either but it also had a bad smell & weird taste. I have no idea what chemical taste was in the hummus. The only plus is they were friendly, but you have to know how to cook too.

I'm a vegetarian and my niece is a vegan. We had plenty of choices here....and we tried several of them. The lentil soup and babaganosh were wonderful. The falafel wrap was great. The falafel were nice and crispy and the wrap was crunchy too. Great. The yogurt sauce is fantastic! The owners were so nice. The place was very clean. My niece is a flight attendant and I meet her when she has a layover here. We'll definitely be going here again.

We come here regularly since we've moved into town. The food is great and the team is always so friendly and helpful. I ordered Turkish coffee and they served it on the cutest tray with the most beautiful cup and saucer.

My experience at Shish Kabob & Grill was great. The restaurant was comforting and welcoming and offered me a dining experience that gave me a true Middle Eastern feel with ambience, music, serving plates and hospitality of course. I had Chicken Qabsa (plate) which was good. Only feedback I could have is hummus could have been grinder more fine for my taste. It's a family owned restaurant and very personal to the guests. I wish the family the best and please continue to serve with love and respect to the guests and food you serve. Thank you and I'll be back.

Falafel is crisp, chicken shawarma is amazing, and everything is so good! would highly recommend to everyone. Come here after any event at Allstate arena- so close! Look at this plate- I couldn't even take a picture before eating. SO GOOD!!!

Pros: Nice friendly placeCons: food was dried and bland. Neither of the sauces helped the flavor either. Rice needed to be cooked longer. I did not like cabbage in my salad and needed more dressing. It's too bad because I love Mediterranean food.

Outstanding flavors and presentation - counter staff helped me find the right order and answered my questions gracefully. Mostly delivery - I dined alone around 7:30pm on a weeknight. Highly recommended before your ORD flight!

The staff are very welcoming and attentive. I ordered a kabob combo that was delicious. The pita bread was soft and fresh. The kabobs were seasoned to enhance the taste of the meats. Not salty, nor spicy. Humus was great as well. I tried the Turkish café. It was light with a perfumey type aroma. More of expresso style but Not bitter.
