I have stopped into the bakery several times when I am in Macomb for business. Everything they make is fantastic and I would suggest stopping out into the country to find something special.

So glad we found this place on the map. We have traveled for several days through Amish country in Missouri and around with not very many bakeries or local treats. We hit the mother load with Lee’s Bakery! We visited on a Saturday and the bakery was full of lots of different treats.
We purchased hand pies in the flavor of lemon, raspberry, black raspberry, pecan, apple, cherry and strawberry cream. And they had more flavors available!
We also purchased the filled donuts with a Bavarian cream and raspberry as well as the cinnamon rolls with a caramel frosting. And yes we got a strawberry rhubarb pie just for fun.
They also have homemade chocolates, wood birdhouses and such as well as rugs and Tupperware.

This place and the food are phenomenal. The lemon pie and the apple that I tried were fantastic. The lemon was in the fridge and still tasted wonderful, while the apple pie were freshly made and were delicious. We got other goods and hope that we come back again! ❤️🙏

I am old enough to roll with serendipity when it happens to me. When we zoomed past a small sign that said Lee’s Bakery on this small country road in the middle of corn and soybean fields we stopped and I put the car in reverse and drove at least 150 feet. The amazing smell of sugar and baked goods was overwhelming when we walked in. Peter the owner was working the kitchen when we arrived and was finishing up taking a variety of pies out of the oven. See photo below. We had some handpies of which every bit was better than the next. It was so sad as it got smaller with each bite as we were already miles away and could not go back for more. We also got Pecan Brittle which was also very good. Would have ordered donuts but it was a pack of 6 and there were only 2 of us but the looked and smelled great. Highly recommend.

Last week, I shopped at the Dahinda General Store and picked up two small tubs of the Lee's Bakery butter toffee candy. WOW! Out of this world and then some! Next time I'm passing anywhere near Roseville, I will stop at Lee's Bakery and partake in their other goodies. In the meantime, I highly recommend the toffee candy. This is an amazing place and the baked goods are unrivaled anywhere we have been before. We drive about 45 minutes round trip every week to replenish.
