HORRIBLE SERVICE AT THE ROUND LAKE BEACH DQ ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS! I've been going to DQ since I was a kid. I love trying all of the newest Blizzard flavors and have always been happy with the service I've received. This location, however, is barely worth rating even 1 star. I repeatedly see employees on their phone instead of working, the food they make has been sub-par compared to other local DQ's, and the wait-time to be serviced is unacceptable to say the least. I will no longer patronize this location, and recommend others to do the same until the current staff is replaced.

Peanut Buster any day! This location serves burgers and chicken so if the car in front of you orders grilled food, you'll be waiting a while to get your cone. I would recommend going in for ice cream. Otherwise, always a good place for goodies 😄

Lived in this town 20 years, go to DQ occasionally. Recently it has been pretty bad. I had to make my order at the drive thru, no less than 3 times. I get to the window and had to repeat each item, not once, but twice... and she's not exactly rude, but very abrupt, and simultaneously clearly not listening. We are the ONLY car there, which in itself is odd because the line used to be out to the street every night... not anymore. So what's the rush?
This order is not complex guys. 3 blizzards, 1 sundae w/nuts. I gave over my credit card, was charged. Then I was asked to repeat my order again! (six times now?) ... and she asked for my card again. I said "didn't we do this already?", she replies "No".
Pull away, sure enough, order is wrong. Definitely not worth the hassle going back.
Next day, balencing checkbook....fantastic, there's the other DQ charge, pending.
I cringe to even try and get it corrected. God forbid I have to speak with these people again. Keep the money, is my first thought, just so I don't have to deal with it.

Went there tonight to get a banana split which was poorly made, and the lady that took my order in the drive thur was not friendly !!
Bought 2 billiards , a dipped cone and a strawberry sundae. The dipped cone and the sundae had bare minimum ice cream . The cone was a medium but looked like a child made it and the sundae had a scoop of ice cream for a medium . Waited in the drive up line for 20 plus minutes and wasn’t many cars in front of mine . For the money I paid I should have received the ice cream I paid for . Very disappointing!

Not a fan. Food is pretty good but we went there because their menu online says they have more stuff but turns out they only serve burgers and chicken tenders. We didn't know that till after I ordered. My chicken tender sandwich didnt come with tomato which was disappointing and they didn't have pretzels (says on the online menu they do). Also they kept getting little things wrong like how we only wanted one drink she charged us for 2 after she asked and I told her we wanted one drink- then was asked what sauce we wanted (ketchup) and then was asked 3 times and I just ended up saying no. We waited a good while for only 2 meals, which was not great since it was just practically fries and tenders and it's overall expensive. Will probably be back in the summer for blizzards but probably not for hot food.
