Listen man, I've visited tons of Mexican places around the Round Lake/Grayslake/Libertyville area, and there guys are just the best. Love the nachos and everyone here is always very nice.

From flies to horrible tending. Go to rancho Nuevo or lomelis weakest spot in round lake taste wise.🧐

Cute small restaurant off Rt 134 in Round Lake with excellent margaritas and delicious food. Got the Mexican Eggs breakfast and it was perfect! Eggs not runny or over cooked, more than enough for the 4 tortillas provided. Generous portion so I am bringing some home! Yummy on the rocks strawberry margarita with plenty of strawberries 🍓 floating in it. Several lime slices and an orange in the traditional margarita. Would recommend and we will definitely be back to try the $1.99 tacos on Tuesdays. 😁👍
My sister and I went last night spent over 60$ for the food to taste weird this is our first and last time. The only thing that was ok was the horchata I got a burrito she got nachos the steak meat tasted like hamburger meat the cheese was kinda nasty tasted sour. We got my brother and nephew arrachera tacos dinners the meat was cooked fully but little to no flavor. The host also told us 15 minutes for our order we went in 25 minutes later and they didn’t even start our order so we waited an additional 15 minutes. Maybe it was a bad night who knows.
Food was amazing, great service and prices,
everyone was so nice

I love the green salsa. Everything is good! I recommend the green pozole and arrachera con camaron. Horchata is the best too
The atmosphere is a bit awkward if you don't speak Spanish. But the food is pretty good. It depends on the day really. The rice and beans tasted weird the last time I went but were good another time.
The tacos were good. The quesabirria is good. I have done take out and dine in. I prefer take out, since the atmosphere is awkward. They have a good variety of glass bottle drink options, so that's a plus! Overall, would recommend.
Muy rico todo! Las salsas diferentes y sabrosas los tacos y quesabirrias deliciosas! Pozole estilo Guerrero muy rico! Y el servicio ni se diga!! La mesera súper amable y atenta!
We love this place!

Everything here tastes fresh and homemade. The red and green salsas were the best I’ve ever had, different than anywhere else. All of the tacos were in the bigger side so 3-4 will fill you up. We had the chilie relleno tacos, tasted like they had just made them that day. Steak tacos were really nice, the meat was lean and didn’t have chunks of fat like other places do. Al pastor taco was good, as well as the tripa. The torta was huge and delicious.
The staff were just as great as the food. They were very friendly and helpful. We came in on a Friday night to order some take out and they had karaoke. Everyone looked like they were having a lot of fun. The drinks looked great so next time we will eat there so we can try the margaritas.
I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back again! 10/10
