They have an amazing variety of sweet mexican bread. They also serve gorditas of Chicharron; restrooms and green with cheese. Champurrado and and so delicious desserts like flan, cheese cake, three milk cake, chocoflan, etc.
1 of the best panaderias around. People are super friendly. Always grateful for their customers. Pan dulces are so yummy and affordable. Chocolate dipped strawberries, fresh rolls and now fresh fried chicharrones plus fresh and ready to eat huaraches and quesadillas. Que delicioso!! Highly recommend.
I ordered my cake from La Luz after having tasted their Tres Leches cake for my nephew's birthday over the summer. It was one of the best Tres Leches cakes I've tasted. Though Round Lake is quite the drive from Rolling Meadows, I knew it'd be worth it. I ordered it 2 weeks in advance, and the owner who took my order was very polite, patient, and took all my details. I did have a complaint after attempting to get a question answered and being placed on long holds...
