The food was really good I would come again. I didn’t like that I received my bill with a charge of $1.41 for water. I think that the facility should make it very clear that water and using a card for payment are chargeable items as well. Next time I’ll bring my water bottle in.
Check it out if you’re looking for a quaint & unique spot to spend some time in a relaxing and friendly setting. We are the Outsiders but always feel welcome. Menu is good but limited so it’s more of a place to chill and enjoy a few drinks. Building is super cool and takes you back in time. I wish they would have opened up the 2nd floor to create a balcony but that’s just me seeing the potential in this place. Pleasant and spacious outside seating in warm weather.
What a surprise to find this awesome little spot tucked away in Ruma! If you're out getting lost on the country roads and in the small towns of Southern IL, The Ruma Mill is worth the stop!
