Decided to try out a bakery while in beardstown and I'm so glad I stumbled across Roger's. I ordered a glazed donut and a chochalate long john and they only made me pay for one, plus they threw in an additional glazed donut. The atmosphere is nice and way different than anything we've got in the city. Go check out Roger's!
Rogers… or Rushville Donuts as we call them are the best donuts I have had anywhere, local or chain. They taste like a fresh baked for days… they dont get hard and chewy. Pies are amazing as well. Cinnamon Rolls, Old Fashioned, Fritters, have never had a bad on of any kind.
I've never been to a bakery that has better donuts! I love the cookies! All of my family members who grew up here and then moved away, always want me to buy "Roger's" if we are getting together. We are lucky to have Roger's bakery!
