Buford's is a central Illinois gem. The food and service area always excellent. They serve one of the best Philly cheesesteaks in the are and you have to try one of the giant breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches. Buford's breakfast is also excellent.

We had a larger party so the wait was a bit longer than it was for the smaller parties that came in right before us. But the waitresses were both very friendly and apologetic about the wait. Once we were seated they offered our toddlers saltines to keep them occupied. The food was amazing and the staff was so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was also good. It had a down home vibe that was very comfortable. The garlic cheese curds are amazing! The pork tenderloin is HUGE and tasty. And the fries (both hand cut and waffle) we're soooo good. Highly recommend this place.

We heard about the famous tenderloins here, so we came to try it out. I’m usually not a big tenderloin kinda guy, but I’d have to say this one was excellent! I got the mini, not the giant one, and it was just about perfect. Hot, crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy inside. And Buford’s Beans were extraordinary! Spicy and savory, with excellent taste and texture. Honestly the best side of beans I’ve ever had. Get the beans!!! Would not have expected this place in Sadorus, IL. When you see the giant grain bins, you have arrived.

$20 for a sandwich and a handful of fries. Don't waste your time and money. Take a 15 minute drive to town and eat at A Real Restaurant If you're gonna spend that kind of money.

Terrible excuse of a “business owner!” He’s degrading, unprofessional, and has NO business working with the public. He has a dog that wonders the restaurant, that he claims is a “service dog” but will beg for food under your table, and pictures are posted of the dog ON the bar! On our previous & LAST visit, he ripped my daughter’s phone out of her hand, endangering my then 2 year old grandson that was sitting on her lap & threw it across the establishment. Ironically enough, none of the police reports could be found when we called to follow up on the case! This vile human should’ve been shut down numerous times, but obviously has the police dept. in his back pocket!! What comes around, goes around— Karma!

Friendly fast service delicious 😋 the cheese curds were seasoned well and the sauces were fabulous 👌. We came for the signature dish of beaded tenderloin, it was superb worth the hour drive 🚗. I expect we will be back.
We each had the big boy breaded tenderloin and had plenty left over for 2 more meals. It was thicker than many places that serve them. It was juicy and delicious.. Highly recommend. It comes with a side dish, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and condiments as desired.
This place is great!!! We had the big beautiful breaded pork tenderloin sandwich!! It was so good, the fried pickles were very good, the Philly cheese steak was yummy as well!!! Do not sleep on this place!!!
