This is the kind of hole-in-the-wall spot I love to find! I have had my eye on the raving tenderloin reviews this for this place for over a year. My wife suggested that we make the 2.5 hour drive for Valentines Day today to finally give it a try. Absolutely outstanding! Gigantic tenderloin, well seasoned, good thickness, and still juicy. I chose the option to have it cut into sliders served on Hawaiian rolls, and they toasted the whole thing! This was the Big Boy Tenderloin, comes with waffle fries for $19.50 and I upgraded to the slider rolls for an extra $3. I only finished 1/3 of it and brought the rest home. Tons of other great options on the menu and huge portions (the order of pulled pork nachos in the photo is only a half order). Buford's Pub in Sadorus, IL. Long drive but completely worth it!

Were you really like this place? We go there every now and then. Because it's kind of Fur out, but we like to go it is worth it. That tenderloin filled the whole PAN. It takes about 4 or 5 of us. To eat it so good.

Buford's is a central Illinois gem. The food and service area always excellent. They serve one of the best Philly cheesesteaks in the are and you have to try one of the giant breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches. Buford's breakfast is also excellent.
We had a larger party so the wait was a bit longer than it was for the smaller parties that came in right before us. But the waitresses were both very friendly and apologetic about the wait. Once we were seated they offered our toddlers saltines to keep them occupied. The food was amazing and the staff was so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was also good. It had a down home vibe that was very comfortable. The garlic cheese curds are amazing! The pork tenderloin is HUGE and tasty. And the fries (both hand cut and waffle) we're soooo good. Highly recommend this place.

We heard about the famous tenderloins here, so we came to try it out. I’m usually not a big tenderloin kinda guy, but I’d have to say this one was excellent! I got the mini, not the giant one, and it was just about perfect. Hot, crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy inside. And Buford’s Beans were extraordinary! Spicy and savory, with excellent taste and texture. Honestly the best side of beans I’ve ever had. Get the beans!!! Would not have expected this place in Sadorus, IL. When you see the giant grain bins, you have arrived.
