Buford's is a central Illinois gem. The food and service area always excellent. They serve one of the best Philly cheesesteaks in the are and you have to try one of the giant breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches. Buford's breakfast is also excellent.
We had a larger party so the wait was a bit longer than it was for the smaller parties that came in right before us. But the waitresses were both very friendly and apologetic about the wait. Once we were seated they offered our toddlers saltines to keep them occupied. The food was amazing and the staff was so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was also good. First time here with my wife for our anniversary dinner. Had the brisket sandwiches, we'll past my expectations just absolutely amazing. Definitely will be back and be spending the word to friends. Thanks.
