Recently my wife and I went to Bull Moose for lunch. Waited an hour for our food ( and still no food was presented) before paying for drinks only and leaving.
Other tables that seated after us were served their orders. No explanation other than the kitchen was busy. No offer to make things right other than saying: do you this order to go?? Poor management and bad service.
I have visited this bar before and had some issue with the wait time but this experience was over the top. By the way, we had ordered a hot dog and a patty melt dinner. No excuse for this.

First things first this place constantly has issues, I have given it numerous chances and have spent a lot of money here but after the last two times I have had issues with my food and the managers I will not be coming back here after today. I just picked up my food , I paid extra for jalapeños 1.50$ . The peppers they put on there weren’t jalepenos they had no heat. I was a professional chef for 12 years. The GM basically doubled down asserting that they were, so at this point I’m annoyed and like whatever she offers to credit me 1$ which was less than what I paid so I’m like nah you can keep it I just won’t come back and she was like okay cool. I told her their supplier was bad, which she agreed. I didn’t even ask to be refunded for my entire meal because I didn’t want to be the food was fine I just don’t want to eat plain green peppers in my food, I didn’t pay for that the point of eating jalapeños is for the heat. Anyway, this wasn’t the only situation… a months ago back during the winter/spring they were having major issues in their kitchen with their cooks and they burnt my food so much I sent it back, the woman working there basically gaslit us and was like oh it’s just the seasoning, again I’m like no, that’s not seasoning it’s over cooked and burnt. I know what burnt food is. Again , I didn’t ask to be refunded I just wanted food that wasn’t obliterated. I don’t think this is unreasonable, I am a super chill customer, I tip 35-50% I worked in fine dining and pubs, I know that they hire cooks and not chefs and I don’t care but if customers have told you that your “jalepenos” aren’t spicy and don’t taste like them (you confirmed that they have before) why are you still selling and charging them. You can fix this with your supplier and you can even get a refund, I KNOW you can. Shame on you. Also, you obviously need my 1.50$ more than I do because offering me back 1$ is crazy since it’s less than what I even paid. Keep it, seriously economic times must be really tough.

10/10 I’m a fairly hard person to impress when it comes to food and their cream of mushroom soups is a must have!!! There cheese curds are an unexpected flavorful experience and thier potato skins were just as they should be with perfectly crispy bacon on top.
Their bacon mushroom is good but not as good for me, their chicken and rice soup is packed full of rich flavor, but isn’t a liquid soup more of a dense creamy dish. Their side salad is perfect and I’m sure if that’s done well so are their salads. I had the Italian beef wrap and tots both have a kick even being mild. The only no dish for me was the Alfredo Mac that lacked flavor, size, and appearance though I got it to go. It came with 4 small shrimp for the add on and they had no flavor and were very over cooked. Food seems to be better in the restaurant than to go.
Service and friendly faces are pretty common here however from my experience altering dishes doesn’t appear to be much of an option.
The atmosphere here especially on the smaller side deck low tops is perfect. Very cute and clean environment perfect for a bar.
Overall it’s a must try and I will be back for sure!

Not a place for raw vegans. Fantastic for others. My bill for no meat and all veggies was was far more than my meat eating friends. It shouldn't be that way. No meat, dairy and bread people need affordable options under the $22 this trip cost me.
My food was very good, as is the standard here. And I love the atmosphere too. None better. I won't be back unless I can eat reasonably.

Came about a half hour before they closed. New to the area, so we didn't realize it closed so early, but they were able to take our order anyway. The food was great and the staff was really friendly. We will go again earlier next time.
