One of the best pizza places I have been to in a long time. Highly recommend the margherita pizza. Gene is an awesome person. Please make sure you visit this place. You won't regret it.

This place is so delicious!!! The chicken is phenomenal! Best around! The menu has so much to choose from as well! We Enjoy eating there definitely recommend it!!

We got a 16 inch deep dish with sausage and mushrooms... The cheese was exquisite and delicious of course I would love more sausage but in the future I might order extra sausage instead mushrooms. I also think the deep dish might be a better choice in a 14-in. But that's because this pizza was so big and so heavy, but cooked to perfection.
The 16 inch thin crust we ordered was delightful. We got Italian beef, bacon, and pineapple ( otherwise known as a beefy Hawaiian) and it was so gorgeous and it was so delicious.
the crust on both pizzas light and a bit airy but sturdy. Everything was ready at the time it was promised. Prices are comparable to the other non-chain pizza restaurants in the area.

Genes is a great asset to Sandwich! Awesome old school menu! Tastes great and very reasonably priced! Wonderful family owned joint!!

We ordered a 20 inch sausage pizza ,Saturday March 30th. The order was ready on time and hot out of the oven. However when we got home and opened the box we were disappointed in the amount of sausage that was on the pizza. Approximately half of the slices had nothing but cheese. Genes was always a great pizza, it's a shame the cost of ingredients has come to this.

We made the decision to do an order pickup tonight. The staff was incredibly friendly. Price was no different compared to any of the other local restaurants. Food was great and done just as soon as we got there to pick up.

I used to eat there weekly but not anymore. Ever since Covid, it's not the same eating there. The food is not as good and the portions seem smaller. The prices are really high now too. The waitress is excellent. Very good service, that's about the only thing that is great there. No salad bar either. It's almost like they don't care anymore.

Looking for local restaurants in Sandwich ILL and called to find out what soups were on the menu? Called 2 phone numbers and it says closed on Mondays, OK. Today is Wednesday no answer so I call the other number no answer. Finally an awful sounding message says it only opens on Thursday, Friday and possibly Saturday. You should definitely update your messages and menu’s for new future customers like me. We moved here 3 years ago and still trying to find special places locally.
