We had great takeout experience at Black Salt Indian Restaurant! The tandoori mixed grill was superb, with perfectly seasoned and cooked meats that just melted in your mouth. The naan was equally impressive--soft, warm, and the perfect companion to the savory grill. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine. Will definitely return!

My Chicken Tikka Masala was like creamy tomato soup. It didn't have much flavor at all. I asked for medium-hot, it had zero spice. No flavor. Also, for my Tikka Masala, rice, and naan, it was over $30 for carry out. That is ridiculous!!

We ordered take out tonight. Garlic naan bread, samosas, butter chicken and shrimp tikka masala. Our bill was over $70 and they charge you a fee for using your debit or credit card. The butter chicken and masala were in the same sauce. The shrimp had 5 medium size shrimp drowning in sauce. The chicken had 6 small chunks of chicken in it. The only thing appetizing was the bread. Save your time and money and go to Tandoor in Schererville.
