Dinner-for-two on a Sunday evening, visiting the area for a 2-night getaway. We angle parked across from the restaurant; there's also a small parking lot on the property. Most patrons were there to socialize & watch football, with a few carryouts processed during our meal.
The service staff were very friendly & welcoming & attentive, and our meals were prepped & delivered to our booth in a reasonable amount of time. Both of our choices were tasty with high quality ingredients (Fried Chicken Sandwich with kettle chips, Patty Melt with French fries), and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was laid back & comfortable, and we would return to Old School if we came back to the area.

This was a great spot to grab lunch after a rare chance to hit the highest point of Illinois as Charles Mound. Not too busy at lunchtime on a Saturday but good service, good food, and a nice cool retreat for food after walking outside in the summer heat nearby. I highly recommend the cheese curds.

We tried the Mini Tacos (so good), the cheese curds (every bite was a hit), and both the regular and gluten-free Thin-Crust pizzas, absolutely out of this world. The flavors, the combinations, everything was a total delight.
Without a doubt, you're now at the top of my favorite pizza list. Big shoutout to the Old School Saloon. If you ever get the chance to visit, do yourself a favor and go!

Visited here on a Sunday. The service was fantastic. Both servers were attentive and friendly. I had a burger and fries. The food came out fast and was delicious. The pizza was recommended but they don’t serve that until 4:00. I highly recommend this place.
