The food was great! I had their ribeye special & Ruben sammich special for St. Patty's day. I've never had a Ruben that good even when I lived in St. Louis!!! The service was par, given there was only one waitress & one bartender. You can't be mad at that for the amount of guest they had for St. Patty's Day. It's just a hop away from Sesser, so I'll be back soon! Their pizzas are awesome as well. Wash it all down w/an ice cold stag.
If your looking for a rustic place that seems like a frontier bar in the modern era, then look no further then Scheller Playhouse.The short version:Average out of the way locals bar located in the middle of the crop fields.The long Version:What really caught my eye was the woodwork of the main bar. It was very interesting in the layout design and style. The builder added railroad spikes into the panel which gives it a connection to the train crossing that is next to the footprint...
I applaud the owners here!! Great people great food. There was a miscommunication by the glo bingo that led people to think they couldn’t get in if you bought tickets on event brite. We let owners know and took care of it for us Amazing people! Places like this that do the right thing deserve the business so again I applaud the owners great food great atmosphere and also took care of our bill since we waited forever! Thanks again guys we will be back for sure !
