Gpay didn't work and I had no physical card.
After trying the Gpay several times, I gave up. The manager asked for the drink I was drinking back, lol.
I got in the car, saw my wallet in the seat and decided not to go back in.
I drove out of my way to try this food, but this experience with being asked for the drink back was shocking. #theapartmentlady

Frannie's Beef & Catering is an absolute gem and a true neighborhood favorite in Schiller Park. The food is outstanding, with the Italian beef hands down one of the very best anywhere in the Chicago area. It is packed with flavor, very tender, and the portions are generous. The Chicago hot dogs are legit. Many find the combo excellent, with the sausage cooked to perfection. Some note the beef could have more spices, but it remains very good. The giardinera is really good, though some prefer it hotter. The fries are delicious and very good, and the Italian ice is also very good. Everything tastes fresh and homemade.
The staff is just as great as the food. Everyone is very friendly, polite, welcoming, and they make you feel like a regular. Service is quick, fast, and awesome, and they genuinely care. The owner/manager is great and remembers customers. The atmosphere is supported by the community, with many local police and firefighters stopping in. Prices are reason and great. Customers drive from far away and consistently return, with nothing bad to say except wishing it was closer. Frannie’s does NOT disappoint and is definitely worth the stop.
