Fair beer and food.
Great diverse beer selection. Food is delicious. Can’t wait to add this to our list of regular spots when we move to town.
Was there a busy weekend, with that being said, very long wait, disorganized service, servers that had a attitude
i wanted toto leave 2 stars but i'm being v generous.
why is the beer so warm ☹️
my ribs were extremely salty.
my server was no where to be found.
ill give it another chance but it wasn't that busy
We enjoyed the first time we came here. The second time, the bartender was incredibly rude. He yelled to get our attention and told us multiple tables and areas were closed due to parties even though people clearly not at a party were already sitting in those areas. There was virtually no place to sit. It’s also not very toddler or baby friendly if you can’t sit in a booth. All other tables are high tops.
I had always categorized them as a fairly decent Chicagoland brewery (B+/B). They offer solid beers and their proximity to O’Hare airport allows for a convenient visit after a day of travel. Unless you happen to arrive on a random Saturday night in June during regular business hours. I tried visiting them at
9:30 pm after a wearing flight from Vancouver that had been delayed. Hoping for some refreshment to take the sting off from taxiing on the runway for more than an hour, I arrived to a place (the door was open and the sign also still said open) devoid of customers. The only people drinking were employees who told me they had closed early due to sparse customer engagement. Completely unacceptable! They obviously care more about their employees getting their Saturday night drink on as early as possible more than a paying customer. They should’ve just hung a sign upon the door that said, “Don’t Disturb This Groove”!
Short Fuse Brewing Company in Schiller Park, IL is an amazing establishment to have a private party…and to eat and drink at any day/night of the week! Courtney Topolinski is the GM—she’s organized, thoughtful, has great ideas, and truly helped us put together a perfect Welcome Dinner the night before our daughter’s wedding--it was fantastic! Short Fuse makes its own beers onsite, plus they have spirits, hard ciders, seltzers and more. The menu is great, the food is super-delicious, plus the brewery’s great décor and overall vibe is unique. As a bonus: Courtney was on-site with us, along with her excellent staff who was efficient, so helpful and spot-on with every detail throughout the entire evening! Marilynn, Meg and Scott worked so hard work—along with Courtney’s, their expertise shone through from start to finish. The evening was perfect and smooth--our guests raved about everything all night long! Short Fuse Brewing Company is a must go-to!
Awful, awful service. I waited 15 minutes and literally got turned away and shushed when I tried to get the attention of one of the servers.
Hire more staff and train them properly - never again.
Server NOT pleasant. Every brewery I’ve been to the staff was always welcoming & generous on recommending options on the brew & food menu. The guy today at Happy Hour was the pits. And scary with at SORE NOSE. Nachos -Eh Cheese Curds - DELISH!
Visited on a Sunday afternoon with a few friends. The brewery wasn't busy and had plenty of open tables. There were about 30 beer options to choose from with about two dozen of them on draft. I got a flight of 7 beers (All 5-oz pours). Service was very good. Good brewery to go to if you are in the area.

The beer is good, the food is pretty good not a great selection. The facility has run down. Chairs are broken. There are always tables dirty with empty glasses and plates. If the beer wasn’t so good we would never step foot in the establishment again. Everything has a feeling of dirty and rundown.
Excellent service and excellent beer flights! Great curds!!
Nachos are insanely good! So is theor beer selection!
Their sour ales smash in summer heat
Service was very good and attentive. Food was ok. Beers were ok
