We were out late on the river one night during an epic Chicago to Grafton boat run and needed some food and rest. Boondocks was the proverbial bright light in the darkness, so we pulled over and went in. Even though the kitchen had stopped service 5 minutes earlier, Victor the bartender went in the back and rustled up some grub for us. Very appreciated! We will be back.

Outside on Sundays with bands starting at 2. Food is average at best. Used to be really good but has gone downhill over the past few years. Went with a group and half ended up with food poisoning!! Bad ranch!?
