Been there 3 times. The first time the food and service was on point. The 2nd was very bad service over heard the "dishwasher" tell another customer if the ppl don't want to wait for food they can leave "bye there's the door" and 3rd time the wait time for food was ridiculous. We had our grandson with us at least they could have brought him some out to eat while we waited. And they don't have a kids menu. Food was great when we finally got it.
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all. And no menu for the kids.
The food as well as the service is great, there is little to complain about aside from maybe their small menu but at least to do the few things they do well.

Oklahoma gal here driving through to visit family and when I say I will have to make a drive all the way back for this delicious food but even more so for the service!! Traveling with kiddos can be hard and exhausting but Nikki made our day!! Not only was she impressive at how she does her job but she also made sure we all had good ol memorable laughs! So glad we stopped in and can’t wait for an excuse to drive back!!!
It's a brand new restaurant under New Management the service is phenomenal especially if you get a waitress by the name of Nikki she's new but she's so friendly she gave us some good laughs the cook on the other hand, they need to lower the flame on their grill use less charing oil pay a little better attention to what they're doing then they'll be great.... Their new you got to give them a second chance, especially when the service in the atmosphere is so fantastic
Vegetarian options: You can always order off the menu and get vegetarian selections there are plenty of salads chips salsa guacamole plenty of selections for vegetarians
Parking: Plenty of parking there's even a place to dock your boat if you want....
Kid-friendliness: Yes kid friendly as long as your kids are respectful but yes kids are definitely allowed in here with an adult

I hate to write a bad review because we came here a few other times and enjoyed it. The other night we walked in and got a table for dinner right away but it took an hour to get out food. After we placed our order the waitress didn't come back to check on us for another 45 minutes. When our food finally came out the kids fries weren't even hot and I was served the wrong sandwich. I'd understand if they were busy but the place was half full, luckily our kids ate shortly before we got there otherwise it would have been a nightmare.

Glad we found this place. We went on a Sunday mid afternoon and had the place to ourselves. The food was fresh and hot! I had the patty melt my husband had a burger. Ordered one of the specialty drinks. I didn’t care for it and they forgot the fruit which is a big reason of ordering it. But the view and the hot food was worth it.

Good service and great views of the Illinois River and Spring Brook Marina. We enjoys the atmosphere of being on the second floor overlooking everything. The food is good, not outstanding.
The waiter was nice, the prices are not bad, the view of the lake is awesome as well. However, I’m not sure the cook knows what a smash burger or that ground beef is supposed to be “seasoned”.
