Great spot to get a nice breakfast with generous portions. Customer service was excellent and the food was very tasty. Easy to have conversations with people at your table and very comfortable seating.

If you’re seeking that local home-style cooking without the hassle while camping at one of the nearby campgrounds or fishing down the dam for a massive musky, only to catch a cold and decide a breakfast horseshoe sounds much better with a warm cup of coffee, stop by!

All jokes aside, this was a fantastic experience for my wife and me. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the ambiance, and our server, who was having a particularly challenging day. Despite the circumstances, she managed to make the best of it.

So, stop by, give it a try!

Parking: Don’t bring the camper here…not easy to get around.

Large variety. Excellent food and service. Good prices. The homemade desserts are the best. Stop in and see for yourself.

The pork ribs were not cooked tender and were tough. My fish sandwich was overcooked and fishy and the fries were greasy and limp. My husband ate his and my order so I left with nothing to eat.

Took a day trip to Shelbyville from Effingham County with family and had heard great things about this place. There are several murals nearby, including one on the side of this building. We were lucky enough to get a table by the window and the courthouse view was just beautiful. Food and service were both great and I look forward to checking this place out again in the future.

It took sometime to get waited on. A couple who came after us got waited on first...which is always a little aggravating ? a person did come an get our drink order quickly. Really wasn't busy.....took quite a while to get our salads... they were good when we got them. Just wasn't a good experience. Maybe a bad day. There are other places to try.

It's a good place with good atmosphere, but the last several times we've been the food was not great. The gravy was plain, hashbrowns were soggy, and the I got a blt with the toast too hard and bacon overdone so that it hurt my mouth to chew.

When I go to Shelbyville I like to eat here. The food is good and the price is right! The gal that works here as a waitress is so sweet I hope Lisa understands what a jewel she has with this waitress! We always go for breakfast I would recommend Lisa's over any other restaurant in

Stopped in and knew nothing about this place. Vintage and nice inside, very relaxing. Great views outside. Had the Thursday Special, Country Fried Steak, mashed taters, corn and white gravy. Delicious, hot, and very quick. I recommend.
