PSA to paddlers: They do have a canoe/kayak launch, but it doesn't look like it's been used in years and consists of very steep, narrow, rotting steps that are dicey to maneuver. We did manage to get a canoe and four kayaks down to launch there but I wouldn't recommend it. Probably better to launch from the bridge at Highway 52 (although I have no personal experience there).
