Carsons Corner Pizzeria and more

As soon as I had my first bite, I knew this was someone from the Southside of Chicago who knew wheat they were doing. I don’t know how it took me so long to find this place, but I’ll never order from anywhere else again! (Hoping for Italian Beef one day!)

10/10 pizza. It was great. Love the twisted crust. Service was great as we ordered close to closing time and they accommodated the order and brought it to our car when finished. We will absolutely be back!

Hey guys, the pizza is great, particularly since I usually like a good neighborhood-style pizza cause it feels and tastes like the best homemade pizza ever, but pleassse do not past go with their breaded steak sandwiches! OMG, I think their sauce is what really makes this stand out, so they can lineup with Ricobenes every day! Can’t get the Chicago style…ok, head to Carson’s Corner. You won’t be disappointed. I haven’t thus far!

Ignorant workers like to hang up on people. It's almost like they don't like buisness.

Great place to pick up food. We were in from out of town and the reviews are true. Pizza is wonderful. Owner was very nice.

Alright Carson's Corner is a pick up location with small table or two dining, attached to a bar on Route 59 in Shorewood. The couple running the joint are absolutely delightful. The tavern pizza hits the spot when looking for that original Chicago bar pizza. It has the crispy crust perfectly cooked cheese with minimal toppings. Since opening, The Breaded Steak Sandwich delivers the Chicagoland nostalgia no one really wants to drive to the city for. I swear the sandwiches are getting bigger or I'm just getting older. Also, I love that the giardiniera is perfect in every way, spicy and hot. Yum yum yum and I look forward to trying their calzones.

Always polite with a smile on their faces as you pick up your food. Pizza is excellent!

First time here. We ordered over the phone for pickup. We got sandwiches, fries & a calzone. Everything was delicious. Very fresh ingredients , homemade meatballs. Calzone had us excited to order pizza next time. Crust and ingredients were so good. Had that slightly yeasty taste of a fresh made, authentic crust. You can’t get that from a chain! Family owned, small business that should be supported. Great prices, great food, check them out! Also, if you pay cash, there’s a 3.25% discount over credit/debit card according to a sign near cash register.

Breaded steak sandwich sure isn't ricobene's , no flavor, small Piece of meat, Pizza no flavor, definitely not the best ingredients

The food is so good the people learned my name and voice. This pizza is the best in the area. Little hole in the wall but it’s amazing!! The people and the food are both authentic. May god bless them and their establishment. Food and service so good I will be back soon !

Great pizza, best in shorewood and I'd say Joliet as well (dont compare them to Cemenos/Aurelios/vita bella/savarinos)
Because they arent in the same category, it feels like and tastes like an old school Southside mom and pop type pizza shop vibe... They are amazing. I wont knock the prior place that was there before but this is much better.. And the owner who pretty much does everything on his own it seems like he is the type of guy you want to patronize.. (breaded steak is also amazing, better then ricobenes).

Something has changed. Maybe cheaper ingredients?? It used to be a really delicious pizza. 2nd pizza in 3 weeks and both not that great, thought 1st one might have been a fluke. Would give 2.5 stars.
Will be awhile before I try again if at all :(
