Worst burrito I ever had ! Refried beans were watery, How do you do that ? The ground corn on the Tamales were dark broen, nearly Black. Spent $28.00 and threw it all in the garbage

Honestly, I don't see myself ever eating here again. Both mine and my sons food came out wrong the place was hot and stuffy and table service was not great.

When we walked in you could smell a loud fumes most likely gas!!! My Cousin and I asked to be seated outside to avoid the fumes. I ordered a margarita. When I mentioned to the waitress that I didn’t like the sour test she ignored my concerns. She then walked away. When she returned to the table I mentioned it again. She grab the glass and said “ You shouldn’t have order it” and walked away. At this point she never returned to the table. She sent a young man to continue for the rest of the time we were there!! She never offered other drinks. That woman has very TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Horrible horrible place to eat. They could care less about food allergies and try to charge you when they obviously messed up and brought out something you can't eat. No apologies nothing just pay anyway and leave. Nope, won't be back and hope you don't even try here

First, I will start with the food. My tacos, beans and rice were cold and tasted horrible. The salsa was soupy. It actually tasted like tomato soup. Ordered a pitcher of margaritas. Thank goodness I looked in the glass before drinking. It had a bug in it. I told the waiter and he said, it's probably from the vendor where they get the ice. No apology at all. He said he would speak to the manager, who did not even come to our table. Instead of an apology, she gave us $6.00 off. I will be reaching out to the health inspector.

If anyone is going to think about eating here don't.Got a burrito and taco to go.Took it home and after a bite of each I wanted my money back and to contact my attorney and sue them for insulting my taste buds.Got a steak burrito beans and cheese only..had nothing but beans and 12 piece of diced steak as if barely enough for a taco. The burrito wasn't even browned a bit.. you know to give it that flavor. The taco had more meat than the burrito and was dry and crunchy and greasy as hell and both the brutto and taco had at least 4 though fat parts that had to be pulled out.The sauce red was okay good heat and ok flavor nothing to write home about.The green had no flavor other than tomatillos and watered down, not a drop off flavor.I come from cicero and know authentic mexican flavor pepe's you lie. I write this because I hope you get your food together. Come on boss you can't be a big shot if you're cook sucks .

I’m not 1 to leave a negative review but this here is outrageous!! I come in to order an order for work (I work with clients with disabilities), 20 tacos, rice, beans and guacamole. The place has a distinct smell. I couldn’t quite pinpoint it but it was something! I submit my order, the food comes out in a decent time. I take the food back to work, to feed my clients. Each taco is wrapped individually, EACH TACO is covered in grease/oil!!!! I had no choice but to feed my clients because it was passed their dinner time. 5 out of 6 of my clients ate it. The other 1 wouldn’t touch it at all!!! On top of that, the chips to the guacamole was stale! I called the restaurant to speak with the manager. I was told she was too busy with tables (no one was there when I placed my order) but I was speaking with the assistant & could help me. I told him my problem, he relayed the message to the manager (I heard her speaking in the background). The manager said bring the food back & could get a refund or call corporate! I explained my work situation with my clients & I was told there was nothing they could do about it. So I came back to return the guacamole (that I purchased for myself) because the chips were BEYOND stale! She refunded me for the guacamole & told me to call corporate about the tacos. I asked for the number, the manager said she didn’t know it, I had to look online & walked off while I was still at the counter! No apology, no remorse or anything! I’m so hurt & upset about my clients. I can take it if it was myself but my clients are different abilities & to know this is what happen to them is heartbreaking!

Upon entering, smelled like farts. A few minutes after arriving, a drunk man was consistently screaming at the end of the bar. Felt like I was being stared at by multiple staff members. Do not recommend for females.

Food came out quickly was nice and hot. I had a Fiesta combo very delicious, hubby had steak carne asada he was pleased with comes out to the table hot and sizzling. He got a side of flour tortillas that come with it and were homemade tasting. Our son ordered Mayan combo liked it a lot. I've been eating at Pepe's for almost 50 years in various locations. Tinley Park IL my favorite locale. Mucho Gusto!

We felt stuck because we ordered the food and sat there and waited for an hour before our appetite came. I had steak taco dinner, the steak was so over cook, tasted like beef jerky.We will not come back for sure. I only gave 1 star because I got my food, and that's the lowest I can give.

Service was quick and prompt and food was good as always. Place is a bit worn but it's Pepe's not Ruth Chris. Enjoyed our meal and location was convenient.
