I stopped by Portillo's in Shorewood, IL, for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience! Their classic Italian beef sandwich is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. The beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, and the bread was soft yet sturdy enough to hold up to the savory juices. I opted for it dipped with hot peppers, and the combination was incredible.

The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the restaurant had a clean, welcoming...

Never disappointed when eating here. Dine in or drive up. The beef is always dipped just right! Staff is always so friendly and helpful.
Only one ?? Anyone else think the beefs are a little smaller than the local mom and pop stands? Just wondering?

So good. I mean, we went back that same day to get shakes. The beefs are my favorite but I always steal some of my kids chicken strips and honey mustard. They legit have the best honey mustard dipping sauce. It's not runny. So good!!
