“First of all the staff was very helpful and delightful. I was here to pick up my daughter’s cake and I was not expecting to get anything extra, but since I’m a veteran I was offered a discount and even more if you pay in cash! The owner’s daughter Ilicia was so thoughtful that she even provided me with a birthday sign and pink plastic butterfly’s to put on top of the cake! I truly support small businesses like this. If you happen to be around the Moline area I highly recommend giving them a try. I’ll follow up on the cheesecake and cupcakes.Update, the cheesecake was soft and creamy and the cupcakes were delicious, airy cake and the icing was light and fluffy, just right by not being too sweet! “Stopped into this clean and cute deli for the first time, and we loved our food! Something we appreciated a lot was that the various salads (potato, turkey, chicken) were very light and didn't have a overwhelming condiment flavor. The breads and soups were incredible. But what took the cake ? was the strawberry limeade cupcake dessert. Everything showed love by the owner/management team, all the way down to the detail of providing flavored water. “This place has catered my company's Christmas party the last 2 years. This last time we won some gift certificates. We've come 3x in the last 2 weeks. Service is amazing. I believe it's veteran owned. We've tried different Soups and sandwiches each time. They were pretty quick and everything tasted amazing. Absolutely love it and totally recommend.“
