I'm tired of Hy-Vee's way of running a store. They hire young people (that's great) but they know nothing. Ask a question and you get another young person (manager) who knows nothing. They will have 6 people in a line and won't open another line, while the head cashier (again young ) walks around looking at the lines while talking to another (young) employee. I found a worm on a bunch of cilantro, so I put it in my cart and gave it to the cashier(thinking I was doing the store a favor). She looked at it and incredibly said, "thank you, do you still want it?" I asked her, " why do you think I pointed it out and gave it to you?"Silence.........."I'm not sure?"Also, why have a happy hour at the bar/deli/restaurant and have NOBODY that is there to wait on you or know how to make a drink? I've sat there for 10-15 minutes and had numerous employees (young again) walk by me on the way to use the restroom, or come out of the deli and see me and NEVER say a word or ask if I need anything. The quality of service here stinks and it starts at the top! Btw- I saw a commercial for Jewel- if there's 3 or more in a line... guess what? They'll open another line! Hy-Vee has extremely high prices but extremely low quality of service.

12/17/2020The ship is sinking!1. Employees in the Chinese Department ignored everyone for 15 min's and when confronted the very tall gentleman says "I'll be with you in a minute " uh what??? Horrible customer service! 2. My wife and I counted 11 patrons with no masks on.... are you kidding me, at this time during the pandemic you're going to blatantly ignore CDC recommendations or refuse to enforce!? Hmmmmm* ALSO, last week our food delivery never arrived. when we called they claimed they were "to busy" to deliver (no one called to tell us that). They offered to deliver the first thing the next day & ANOTHER NO SHOW! We then called to tell them that we would come to the store and pick it up ourselves and when we did that, our order was missing 4 items!! Cmon guys!PEOPLE- Please consider others before you refuse to wear a mask!Sincerely, 20 year customer heading to Jewel/Osco
