New American Restaurants near Silvis, IL

“Some good food, very affordable, and great people that served me. If you can look past the paper and plastic tableware and no bathroom if you stay. By what I ate was very good if you love tenderloin and your a hungry man get the Grandaddy tenderloin you may not need fries my friend. Great place for family had dinner tonight for $45 I would have spent 70 at McDonald’s for smaller amount of food. Maybe a little wait for food if they are busy but no more than ten minutes last time.

Parking: There are a few places to park in front of building

Kid-friendliness: They know there regulars by first name and like to check in on you to make sure you are okay.“

“Very friendly clean place. Great deal on MOnday Burger meal -$6.00. Fries are to die for. Sit near the bar area very relaxing . If you have a hearing impairment request that area. Little easier to hear than in the bigger room which has more echo . I was very impressed. Went back two days later. Two thumbs up!!!!

“We were seated very quickly and the waitress came out in about 5 minutes, took our drink order, brought it in about 10 but NEVER seen her again. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we asked for a new server. They moved us to a new server and he was fantastic (wish I could remember his name). The sad part is the waitress didn’t have many tables and just kept disappearing. Anyways, she lost out on a $65 dollar tip. My husband had the meatloaf and said it was horrible!!! And he eats anything! River House has gone downhill since we were last there about year and half ago. No wonder they weren’t that busy last night and we got seated immediately“

“So about 9 almost 10 years ago I met this nice lady named Kristi she came with a friend that did a guest spot at my tattoo shop in La Crosse, WI. My husband was down there about a month or two ago he came to that bar and she remembered my husband even after he lost over 200lbs. Every time I come down to Illinois I am going to end up here. Great atmosphere and met sooooo many awesome people. Love this place great hometown feel. Food is phenomenal and of course you get Kristi Luv! See you probably in February!!!!!“

“We throughly enjoyed our meal. The filet was done exactly as ordered. The garlic mashed potatoes were good but were light on garlic flavor. Our side salads were perfect for a side: nice thin cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, lettuce blend and croutons. The only reason for 4 stars was the atmosphere was not steak house typical. A bit too casual to qualify as "high end". Would definitely recommend for great food and service.“
