I grew up eating breads and desserts from german and polish bakeries in Chicago. Barry's rye bread is the closest bread to Augusta rye which sadly went out of business some years ago. Best rye anywhere!!!!

We recently went to William and Anne's wedding and the reception was catered by The Barry's Baker's Basket. They had the most amazing dessert selection. From the cookies, to the pies, to the cakes..everything was absolutely scrumptious. Would highly recommend to anyone having a big event.
The absolute best tasting cakes and everything else u can think of!! U have to try it you love it!!!

It is most unfortunate. We have been going here since they opened and it has consistently gone down hill. Last week they put the doughnuts in a sack and they were all stuck together. This week they were stale and seemed to be day olds. I guess we will have to drive to Plano it is a shame that you can get better and fresher doughnuts at a gas station.
