We were quickly greeted and shown to our table. Our food, my wifes Smothered chicken and mt Patty melt were delicious. The patty melt had a Huge burger, I'm guessing 1/2 pound. Lunches came with rolls and soup or salad. This is a nice size restaurant in a relatively out of the way, peaceful country setting.

Way better than it used to be. Stopped going a few years ago. One server constantly spilled drinks on us and the food was so so. My Husband actually gave it a shot a few weeks ago and was impressed. I went recently and it was delicious. Will be going back again soon

We absolutely love Somonauk Pancake House! Their breakfast skillets are great. So much food for the price. It’s our go to restaurant for breakfast at least once a week. The staff are very friendly and food is always hot.
