My hubby and I are from Charlotte NC and stopped in while visiting our family. Loved the fast friendly service and the food is awesome!! We will be back.

We absolutely love Somonauk Pancake House! Their breakfast skillets are great. So much food for the price. It’s our go to restaurant for breakfast at least once a week. The staff are very friendly and food is always hot.

I frequent this place often because they have an excellent senior menu, really good prices, and a very friendly staff that's not afraid to fill your coffee cup often.
Their pancakes are exceptional.

Affordable food and quick service . Have not had any lunch/dinner here but have had breakfast several times and it is always hot and comes to the table quick! Can't go wrong. Last time the bill was $22 for two people, which is probably the best price in the area! Will come back for sure

Nice diner. The soup was very good. As well as the friendly service. Had BLT, french fries, mushroom soup. Also coffee. $14 Plus tip. Respectfully, if you can’t afford to pay it, plus gratuity, you cannot afford to dine out. Food costs are very high and the establishment has to at least break even to stay in business. This is a nice place to eat. Will return.
