La Michoacana Tropical Oasis

Walking in and we were greeted with a hello and a nice smile from a nice lady. Walked into the parlor and it was clean, also smelled SO good. The gentlemen behind the counter was super polite and had fast service. We purchased a couple paletas (ice cream bars), a fruit cup with the works, and a lime/cucumber water (agua de limón). It was all delicious and fruit was fresh, can’t go wrong with stopping in for a refreshing treat!

Corn was over cooked an fruit was not good. Didn’t get bananas and the pineapple was hard as a rock.

Great home-made ice cream, great people, great explanation about ingredients. Highly recommend.

I’ve been trying to find a good dessert place around here for a while. If you’ve read some of my reviews prior regarding ice cream shops in the area, haven’t been too favorable, until now.
It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but when you get inside, the place Has great decor, is spotless.
The service is very friendly and thoughtful. New two the La Michoacana circuit And definitely will be back
I ordered a Oreo shake that was done perfectly with whipped cream and a cherry on top and it ordered numerous paletas to go to keep my freezer for later occasions.
Pricing is good, service is great and the food is even better. When I go back. I’m gonna try Elotes And a few other non-dessert items.
Family owned family run and they care for the community. If you’re in the area, please support them along with the other locally owned establishments.

I had a craving for Dorilocos, and they were absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back. You can tell the ice cream is homemade. Ver a very welcoming atmosphere.

First time customers- we stopped by yesterday evening and we were welcomed with a smile and friendly service. I had a cone of Ferrero Rocher ice cream, it was delicious! The selection of sorbet is huge. We will be back to sample more of their delicious flavors.

We ate outside at their patio seating area. It’s clean and well cared for. I’m a sucker for plants and loved the tropical feel on the patio with their plantings.
