Looking for some excellent and very inexpensive food.....this is the place! Excellent cocktails, food is amazing and every server we have encountered all the times we have been here has been amazing. We headed south for the winter and looking forward to being back for macktown!
Ok. Normally I don't review a place if I'm going to rag on it. I've driven by this bar for the last 16 years. Never went in. Just liked the intrigue of a castle shaped bar. Finally had the opportunity and boy, it was disappointing. Such a mishmash of styles and architecture. Peeling paint, a sense of disrepair on everything, floor tiles coming up. I don't think there's a TV in there from the 21st century. Bartender was grumpy. The only "newer"...
We were in town for a wedding. Searched dive bar Macktown popped up.We went and loved it!!!Great service,customers were friendly and welcoming...If we are ever in the area again, we will stop in!!
